I’m not defending Tubs record just he was elected.

And I think NIl needs guidance for all member teams to follow

Yeah, I have absolutely no idea what our Founding Fathers “were about”. You caught me… the political science degree, history minor, pre-law minor, and numerous courses I’ve taught on Colonial America and the influence of the Enlightenment Thinkers have given me so few facts to stand on. If only I could understand the people, influences, ideas, compromises, and debates surrounding the creation of our government like you, Corch.

Guess I’ll just have to fall back on the fact that I’m a more accomplished and decorated coach than you are. I’ll just be over here with all my rings, COTY awards, Al.com articles, and ex collegiate volleyball player of a wife. Hopefully you can find it in you to further gift us with your knowledge of what our Founding Fathers were “about”.

The Electoral College was literally written into existence due to the prevailing fear that “regular folks” would elect the wrong guy to run the country.

There is nothing in your statement that is accurate. It was to ensure smaller states had a voice in an election and to prevent a small number of densely populated areas from dictating presidential elections. Lastly, common folk’s participation was limited because they needed to own property to vote.

Chimes is actually right. Go to the original sources- James Madison letters, Alexander Hamilton letters, etc. Not the internet articles by a bleeding rag. The electoral college was a compromise to settle what chimes said, what you said, and concerns about the legislative body picking a president themselves which would in turn make the legislative body too powerful for the checks and balances system.

Rivals, JGT:

quote:

Brett Whiteside has been hired as Director of On To Victory.

He was at Auburn under Malzahn for years both as Director of Recruiting Operations and Director of Football Operations. He knows this place well. He also understands recruiting from cold calls up to signed LOIs and everything in between.

(He's been at Mizzou since the regime change here; reunited with former AU associate Eli Drinkwitz.)

Whiteside starts a week from today.

I see on page 2 another collective was introduced that was supposed to be athlete led, but this seems like a big hire.
