AUBURN – Mike Bobo will not return as Auburn’s offensive coordinator, sources have confirmed to Auburn Live.
The decision was finalized by first-year coach Bryan Harsin on Monday.
Auburn finished the year averaging 405 total yards per game, good for 10th in the SEC. The Tigers averaged 164 yards rushing (9th in the SEC) and 241 yards passing (7th in the SEC) in his first season as Auburn’s coordinator.
A veteran coach in the SEC, Bobo is in his first season as offensive coordinator at Auburn. Bobo spent last season at South Carolina as offensive coordinator and quarterback coach after a five-year stint as head coach at Colorado State. He also spent 14 years at Georgia.
“I have a great amount of respect for Coach Harsin, both as a coach and as a person. I know what he’s about and his commitment to excellence,” Bobo said of Harsin this summer.

I’m sure he’d be considered, but I hope he’d be considered and disregarded. Been there, done that. If I never see a draw or bubble screen on 3rd and 20 again, it’ll be too soon.

11,12 and was on the way in '13 before injuries.
QB coach to the #1 player taken in the draft and also coached the SEC's all time leader in passing yards and look what he did in '14 with Hutson Mason
