LSU is well and truly fricked.

Yeah, ULL recruits. The best talent here grew up dreaming of playing for LSU and that will never change. We lose some good talent every year but let's be real here.

Napier in most talent rich state where the u and FSU are down
If he doesn’t build relationships in fla he will not last long
LA is not where his recruiting will be based

I mean I'm sure we'll score some nice Louisiana talent thanks to Napier's connections but I think LSU will be fine if they can get a solid coach. That part seems questionable right now though.

He may have some good high school coach connections. But his recruiting relationships with players are worthless

Napier didn’t get Louisiana recruits while he was here, what makes you think he’ll do it at Florida?

Why would a coach at UF have to come to Louisiana to get recruits? That would only mean he’s failing in Floridia, which would mean he’s failing.

There is a big difference in recruiting for ULL and recruiting for Florida, don't you think?
I mean, I agree with y'all. He'll probably get one or two, but not that many. But for y'all to act like players would have the same interest in playing for ULL and playing for Florida is pretty wild.

That's silly. Saban gets players from all over the country. Does that mean he is failing?
Kirby gets players from all over the country. Is he failing at recruiting?
Florida has FSU, Miami, Georgia, Alabama, Clemson and just about everybody else recruiting there. Of course Napier will recruit in Louisiana. Just like A&M, Alabama, Georgia and may other schools do.
LSU will still get most of the top players in Louisiana.

This is often overlooked when hiring a G5 coach

But I would also imagine a lot of Louisiana football players (HS) would know what Napier has done and might be interested in playing in Florida. But honestly? LSU has Louisiana pretty much locked down. I think he might get one or two. But probably is not going to kill LSU's recruiting like the OP insinuates.

He’s not taking every good LA high school player.
Damn.
If he gets a few great ones here and there that’s awesome.
What is wrong with you people?

While Louisiana does produce some very good talent the quantity just isn't there (I believe about 15 blue chippers in the state for the '22 signing class) and the number has pretty much flat lined with not much growth in the state.
Napier can do just fine with mostly Florida talent.
