To anyone that over the past few years felt about Gus and staff as to how I feel about this coach and staff now. I’m not calling for the firing and as long as he is our coach I will support but hope is lost for me. But if you guys felt that way about Gus since 2015, 2018, 2020 I apologize for being a jerk about it because it seems all hope is lost maybe that’s how y’all felt.

My problem with Gus was his stubbornness and complete lack of initiative to change when things were obviously not working.

We’ll see if Harsin has those same tendencies or if he addresses the glaring issues with this staff.

We need to open the checkbook to try and bring Muschamp back IMO.

Gus was terrible and a large part of the current state of our program. That doesn't excuse what Harsin has done the past few games.

Exactly, those were my issues with Gus. I was done with Gus after 2015 because I knew nothing would ever change due to his stubborn tendencies.

We'll find out pretty quick whether Harsin is similar.

I think Harsin is better than the product the last couple of weeks but damn he better figure it out quickly. Bo Bo has to go Nix regressed and Finley is dumpster fire. Mason was beat with two fricking plays all nite and then openly bragged about dragging their nuts across our chins.

Apologize all you want. I wont. I have never said anything about Gus or Harsin that I dont stand by.

Gus had issues but took us very far and would have again at a point. I have zero confidence at this point Harsin will ever do anything great at Auburn. He talks a big game but in the end, he is a west coast coach trying to coach one of the hardest programs in the NCAA to coach and he is finding that out

He will either be fired or bolt in just a couple of years. All his talk is great and inspired some of you but in the end, he has no real game at this level. It will take years to fix what he is doing and about to do to our recruiting.

Yea our previous coach failed on the OLine a few years but overall our talent was there. We are about to be dead last in the SEC on talent for a long time

Plus we are regressing on the field and guys see it. Wait till next Saturday, you will see what we have become.

Boom! Can’t disagree with anything you said.

Please Washington do the right thing for both schools.

If Washington does give me

Coach G - head coach $2 mil a year
Dell - associate head coach/running backs 1.5 mil
Corey Raymond DBs - 1.2 a year

Let coach G decide his coordinators and recruit our asses off for 3 years then find a true head coach. Might be Dell might be someone else. Come home to momma.

We would be a hard nosed no nonsense kind of team and Coach G would not tie up coordinators hands. Much like Pittman at Arky

It would be a recruiting team. Our talent is going to be miss state level in a couple years as aTm finishes first in the nation this year with UGA and Bama as 2 and 3. He’ll LSU doesn’t even have a coach and is 13th. We are 33rd

Yep but there were coaches that were available but some people had problems with them because of their past.

But they would take some other coaches that similar questionable backgrounds.

Hire the best person that we can stay out of the way and let's roll.

If you want a recruiter, you pay Mario 10 MM per year. Not an average DL coach.

No not nuts at all. With the talent level we are bringing in we are set back about 7-8 years at this point. 2 dead recruiting classes and going on a 3rd.

Why does coach G makes sense. He will play the game he will recruit and prioritize it to the fullest. He will not coordinate any part of the game. He would hire coordinators and let them do their job. Like I said much like Sam Pittman. However Coach G wouldn’t just be a happy times coach he would come in cracking heads and reloading the roster.

Not saying I agree or disagree but why do you think Auburn seems to be the pinnacle of a coach’s career and that 7-10 yr avg. tenure seems to be the flame out period.

Some really good coaches have left only to nosedive.

Wonder why?

Dont be so sure that he could recruit here. He did well at Oregon but he basically have every single thing given to him to do so. He wont have that here and he has some serious competition here. Not like Oregon

Plus, apparently, he is a shitty gameday coach
