Because complety locking up Mississippi talent a necessary but not sufficient condition to become a sustained top tier program.
Locking down landmass talent is the cold fushion of college football. A few people think it could be done, but it hasn't come close to happening and most think its impossible. The two schools split the talent and other top programs raid some along the way.
Even with Freeze peddling cash, hookers, and bibles, he still couldn't compeletely keep Muffin and others at bay.
