Shitty as it is OM just is what it is when it comes to that.
I grew up a UF fan going to the Swamp and not having a voice on Sunday mornings due to yelling for three hours straight at the game.
I got kicked out of the student section in 2014 against Bama because i was "being too loud" because the frat stars and sorostitutes cared more about talking about who sucked whos dick the night before than yelling while on defense against Bama.

I haven't seen a conference game where visiting fans didn't make up at least 15-20% of the people in attendance.

Saban used to complain about fans all the time. He even tried to have the students lose their tickets for leaving early. It worked and he changed the culture.

Ole Miss fans just can’t get out of their own way in their desperation to be accepted into to high society.

Every school is having this problem especially against cupcake schools or terrible opponents.
Saban has wanted to take tickets away from student groups who leave early. No program is immune to this especially since the quality and availability of TV broadcast has improved. Why would you drop several grand to take your family to an awful game when you can watch at your house for free? You’re gonna do that only for big games.

When will you simpletons realize that one of the smallest stadiums in P5 at one of the smallest schools in the SEC in one of the poorest states in the nation is not going to shake the earth with noise…sometimes I feel like I’m in kindergarten in here…damn.

FWIW, many of the empty areas of VHS evident on Saturday night were visitor seating.
Nevertheless, I feel like our stadium doesn't need to be as big as it is. Our enrollment and fanbase are relatively small and Oxford is relatively isolated. There are not a lot of hotels/AirBnbs in the area, and the ones that do exist charge exorbitant prices on gameday.
