We are in year 1 of a significant rebuild.
Harsin is legit. There will be bumps of the head and frustrations.
The real problem is that you let your expectations get the best of you. We beat a couple of overrated teams. Great! Fantastic!
The discipline that Harsin is instilling will prove to win out.
Appreciate that we are competitive every week for now. Expect greatness in 2023. Rinse the sand out of your vaginas. Be men.
War Eagle.

We are not in a rebuild. We have zero recruits. Our coaches are not the best. College football has become the minor leagues. In order to rebuild you need to get new and better things, and that isn’t happening.

Not a rebuild, we returned damn near the entire Oline, a 5 star qb, tank at rb, and several starters on D.
We have just been wildly inconsistent we had a killer running game early this season and it all but disappeared. Our defense looked great in some games and looked non existent yesterday. Bo's thrown for 300+ yards a few times and barely broke 150 in others.
We are struggling in recruiting as well and headed in the opposite trajectory of Moo State and Ole Miss so Harsin better figure it out quickly (like year 2 quickly) or we become the new mizzo of the west

We went 6-5 last year and have not loss less than 4 games since 2013. We are in a massive rebuild.

I can see past his tough man bravado by now. “4th and 1 mentality” meant on an an actual 4th and 1 we allow the receiver a three yard cushion and and an easy quick first down.
He can’t coach. And he can’t recruit

Wrong.
I hate how suddenly our QB, OLine, and team were suddenly fantastic last year. Do we need to bump old threads?

It’s pretty comical. What good does it do you to return your entire OL if they’re the worst group in the conference? The only player that actually strikes fear into opponents is Tank which is why every team we’ve played this year has sold out to stop the run game.
Also “several starters on D”
Like allin said, we went 6-5 last year and have consistently lost 4+ games. This is going to be a process. The fans are going to give Harsin time to fix it but our opinion holds far less weight than many on here think. It’s just a matter of if the administration is going to give him a shot at fixing it.

Well surely you don’t believe that OL this year is the worst than it can get. Our OL are all seniors. What happens when we have reservess and juco Johnny’s manning all 5 spots?

Also “several starters on D” There’s a reason we had to poach kids from Kansas and the FCS. There have been three returning players that have been really good. Wooden, McClain, and McCreary.
Agreed and they’re probably gone. Plus Pappoee. So he ain’t wrong there either

Everything you just said further points to the fact that we do not have the talent we should have on the roster and are in fact in a rebuild. It’s going to get uglier before it gets better.

We currently have the 14th most talented roster in the nation. Stop pretending like we didn’t have the joes last night. We got a coaching problem by a staff that can’t recruit worth a flip
And btw, if we didn’t choke, we would’ve been playing in the Iron Bowl for a shot at
Atlanta.

We went 6-5 last year. Have not loss less than 4 games sense 2013. (2012 was 3-9 and 0-8). Except for Cams year Chiz lost at least 4 games. We are in a rebuild.

I know how miserable our team has been. That got Gus fired, too.
Those records say nothing about our more talented team choking to an inferior team at home to the tune of 40-0

How is this staff doing on upgrading the roster? If they are shitting the bed there, then we’re screwed
Posted on 11/14/21 at 6:52 am to jangalang
Whole coaching staff is a joke

I am certainly not out on Harsin by any means but I’ve also seen nothing to make me think “Harsin is legit” yet. He’s a hard-arse. Congrats. Doesn’t mean anything really, it’s just a behavioral style.
