Just bought tickets for the soccer game Friday afternoon for my daughter's 10th birthday and saw the basketball game was right after. Anybody got any extras or have any experience with the SRO tickets, which are the only ones left?

Is that going to be miserable with a 10, 7, and 3 year old?

Dude, I'm pretty sure everything would be miserable in that situation.

Enjoy it, because it goes fast. I was doing that yesterday, and now 2 are at Auburn as students.

Just leash them together and it should be fine.

It may be harder with four but I’ve had some luck with buying a couple SRO tickets and then finding a couple empty seats after the game gets going.

Ha, they are generally pretty good but I don't know if back to back games is a great idea.

No kidding, blows my mind she's turning 10 already.

Yeah I was going to the say the same. I’ve had some success getting SRO seats and just scoping out the scene for the first 10 game minutes or so and then heading towards empty seats I’ve found. I actually don’t mind the view from SRO but does get a little tiring after a half. Would agree it seems difficult with a 3 YO. Hope you all have fun though and happy birthday to your daughter!

Last year we had some out of town company with 6 and 8 year old kids.

We got sro tix and I think section 219 in the corner has the kids area behind it. Tables with kids stuff that they enjoyed while the parents watched from the rails. They could keep an eye on the kids and watch the game.

Sorry to Hijack your post here – but I am looking at making the trip up from Baton Rouge to attend my first AU Basketball game in the Auburn Arena for the LSU game on Dec. 29th (and bringing my 14 yo son) I am seeing on Seatgeek that the cheapest reserved seat tickets are around $70. Is this a “typical price” for an SEC matchup? Also – seatgeek has “Standing Room Only” tickets – how does this work in the arena? Thanks in advance

From AU LINK

quote:

All reserved tickets for this game are currently sold out. Drink Rail Standing Room tickets are all that remains for this game. Standing room is located at the drink rails around the 100 & 200 level concourses. These are filled on a first come first served basis. Patrons are limited to a total of four (4) tickets for this game. Tickets ordered in excess of the limit of four (4) will be cancelled.

I was at the game last night and it appears the play area for kids is behind section 114.

Thanks, you're the man. Unfortunately I just tried to get SRO's for the other 3 and they are sold out. If you would have told 25 year old me during the Lebo days at Beard-Eaves we would be selling out SRO tickets against Louisiana-Monroe in November I never would have believed it. Thanks Bruce

I was looking at taking my son to the LSU/AU game (the one between Christmas and New Years) - the cheapest reserved seats for this one would cost me $321 for (2) tickets - I never thought I would see the day with Auburn basketball that tickets would be so high
