To me this is pretty simple game. I know OM dynamic offense makes things more complicated but to me in my opinion this will be old school football game. A line of scrimmage game. I think our OL is better then their DL and I think our DL is better then their OL.

So at the end of the day I think OM gets impatient and makes some mistakes. I also see something like 2.5 yards rushing for Ole Miss to something like 5.2 yards per carry for AU.

I also think we are better overall in special teams. Close game but Auburn pulls it out 37-31. If we play very clean it could get ugly but after a week off of game speed I expect some penalties to hold us back a bit.

If this happens, I don’t see it being close.

More info to add. D. Davis has been running the scout team as Corral. A lot of work has gone into zone coverage the past couple of weeks on defense.

A lot of work has gone into
. . . not dropping the ball.

It showed two weeks ago and will continue to improve in this game. It'll not only help to provide a more balanced attack; but help improve our pass defense, as they routinely get burnt in practice.

This can very well be the game we should play quite a bit of zone. A few plays LSU's db's were running down field away from the ball carrier with their backs turned. Never even knew it.

1v1s rarely happen at practice except in individual drills during the season.

However in a bye week...

and with new a WR corch

all manner of what'snot may have transpired.
That what you normally don't do from week to week.

BTW: It's a great day to be an AU Tiger.

This is the type of offense that the bend/don’t break defense was meant for. Make Corral be good for an entire drive instead of one play. Their running game is the real wildcard. It’s very good and it’s going to extend drives.

enough time and it will be picked apart. Do believe they are ready for the zone. Hopefully not but we shall see.
