Nicole is a corona bro who had no problem making money off sports while saying they shouldn’t be playing all last year. And this year saying there shouldn’t be fans in the stadium while being on the sidelines, and crying about field rushing.

Her and Bruce Felder were talking about Texas Tech coaching opening. She just comes out of left field and says in no way should Art Briles or Kendall be allowed to coach there or be head coaches. So do we just write these two off as people? Do their families have to starve now?

Neither were charged with anything that I know of. Was Art a shitty person? Undoubtedly, rumors are Bud Kilmer was based on him, but he didn’t do anything illegal.

How far does it go down the list of Baylor coaches? What about Lebby who is at Ole Miss and up for every job. He is married into the family even. Or does it only count if you had the last name?

Art Briles was exonerated of any wrong doing. I don't personally know him, so I don't know what he's like. I want someone that can win on Saturday, even if they are a dick head frick face.

Corona bros are more damaging to society and sports than a meanie britches coach. frick corona bros and the Subaru's they cruise around in.

That's my not so politically correct take.

For a Baptist school like Baylor, they are shady as they come in both basketball and football. I don't know if Briles really did anything but the Baylor administration covered a lot of dirty deeds up for decades.

I would assume it was rampant all through the school from everything I have read on the topic.

I think that's part of what got Art out of any responsibility. It was much bigger than just the football team.

Do you think he was involved or just got sucked in a bad situation?

Completely and totally. Baylor is as crooked as they come. You don't go from being terrible at every sport to competing for championships without doing something drastic.

Perfect description of Bobby Petrino.
That fricker could coach, until the strange went to his head.

Don't want that fricker again either.

I think he was told and said something to one of the victims to cover it up or something like that.

But I also think Baylor had that as standard operating procedure.

link?

I have no vested interest in protecting Baylor admins, but where is the story on that? Seems like history revision that you've read and you mistook it for something concrete

if the oligarch-controlled media says look north, I'm looking south

if they say blue, I'm going with red

that's my first and second and third reads before then dropping into pass coverage and drilling down on details

if you are anti-corona bro, then you all will agree

The more I read about it, the more I thought it was just virtue signalers trying to hold the coaches accountable for the actions of their players off the field.

They tried to smear Kendall in his recruiting saying he used the fact that there were a lot of pretty girls on campus that liked football players to entice recruits and used that to stretch the narrative that Kendall was furthering rape culture as if he was telling the dudes to come to Baylor and rape girls instead of the obvious "Hey, come to our school, our girls are hot." pitch.

It was just massive overreach by woke media all around as far as I'm concerned.

One of the things the Baylor powers-that-be did was get Waco PD to categorize incident reports as investigative reports. What that meant was shielding those reports when the rapes, sexual assaults, whatever happened so no one knew about them until way down the road -- after the season/eligibility.

A fear mongering, shut everything down because we are all gonna die from the corona virus person. I think Clay Travis might have coined that term in regards to some of the national SPORTS media that thought that sports needed to be shut down due to the corona virus.

There were quite a few sports media people that were on the shut sports down pulpit during the corona virus. It's odd to me that there were sports media that wanted sports shut down considering that's what put food on their tables.

ETA: You will see these people driving around alone in their cars with masks on also. In addition, they have biden and gay pride decals on their Prius.

I'm assuming the claim was that Briles was aware of this?

It’s because it never cost them money.

If they would have gotten fired or laid off because of nothing to cover they would change their tune. Limousine liberals who got to work from home, and wanted everyone but the peasant class that served them at Walmart/Target to stay at home.

I mean the regular students use that as a pitch to come to Baylor so makes sense
