There’s something about Burrow, something more than his ability to be this accurate at the highest level of the game this early in his career. I actually think it’s two things beyond his football IQ and ability that set him apart today, and will in the future—assuming he doesn’t get hit so much that it’ll impact his ability to be great for a long time. To explain, I want you to read two things Burrow said to me after the game in Baltimore.
I asked him if the very loud crowd early in Baltimore affected him, and whether playing in the deafeaning stadia of the SEC got him ready for this.
Burrow: “We knew that they were gonna be jacked up for us to come in, and expecting to beat our arse. But we were ready for it. Playing in the SEC definitely, definitely helped. Gets way louder in the SEC than in any of these NFL stadiums.”

I 100% believe that.
The NFL stadium experience is more about loud music, commercial breaks, and not spilling your tall boy on the jersey-wearing baw sitting in front of you.

I'm guessing that Burrow is simply telling the truth.

A large percentage of folks at NFL stadiums are business people just being entertained and barely watching the game. NFL stadiums also are generally smaller than SEC stadiums. Sure you have some die hards but NFL tickets are too expensive for good seats for the hard core types in large numbers.
By comparison at Kyle you have 38,000 Students alone, all of which are standing and going nuts. At most SEC schools those 6-8 home games are the focus of the entire year, especially the 2-3 biggest games. It's deeply personal.

All NFL stadiums are just large TV studios. The fans at the games are just set pieces to be shown on TV. The NFL is just contrived bull shite. Take me back to Bart Starr sneaking over from the 1 foot line in 15 below zero conditions. That was real. That was what football is supposed to be.

The biggest NFL stadium is metlife. It seats 82,500.
That would be good for 8th largest stadium in the SEC.

About the only stadium where the fans get as pumped as college fans, I presume, is Green Bay.

Quotes like that make Jeaux about my 11th or 12th favorite NFL player.

That's not hard to think at all.
Pro fans are too busy wearing jerseys and checking knuckles to cheer consistently.

SEC and BIG TEN college stadiums are larger than pro stadiums, so duh
