Iowa/Bama is clearly the better of the two programs. They inexplicably lose a game or two early, then they pull out weird voodoo magic and win games they shouldn’t.

ISU vs. Iowa has never mattered outside of bragging rights among those two fanbases.
They aren't in the same conference. They play early in the season so both teams could bounce back from a loss or shite away their entire season after winning the game.
Their game this year was the first time both teams were ranked when they played each other. When that doesn't happen in the IB, it is an exception to the rule.

The SEC has 6 programs that are in that OU/Texas caliber, atleast.
Back in the day, the power Big8/12 teams could name the score against Iowa State.

Mizzou would trade accolades with Auburn in a heartbeat, but Mizzou is Iowa State's daddy. So I'm going with a no on this one.
