They have been down for a long time.
It's no longer an anomaly.
Did someone cut their pipeline of talent?
The rise of bama under saban maybe?
I mean the SEC East is downright bad and they aren't even competitive there.

Demographics
Clemson got better
UGA got better
Vols are no longer the preferred destination for players in their geographic region and Tennessee doesn’t have favorable HS football demographics.
