Did I read right that Saturday was our first road win against rivals since 2010 Iron Bowl?

Against Bama, UGA, and LSU*

* sort of a rival

If so, great to break that streak

Yeah we haven’t won at any of those in a long time and if you take out 2010 its pretty horrific. We haven’t beaten UGA in Athens since 2005.

Well Gus never won at any road games against them, so sounds right.

He had the opportunity to multiple times
2014 @ Bama. If Roc Thomas doesn’t fumble late I believe we win that game
2016 @ UGA…probably the worst team UGA has fielded in a very long time. Like always we played like we didn’t practice at all that week.
2017 @ LSU…blame that completely on Gus for letting off the gas at the half
2020 @ UGA…the final straw for me with Gus. We would have struggled to beat the HS team up the road from me that’s a powerhouse. Again we looked we didn’t practice at all that week

Indeed. But what really impressed me and made me excited is the excitement and celebration of the players when Harsin entered to the locker room. Likewise, Harsin's reaction as well. He downplayed the fact that AU hasn't won in Red Stick since 1999 but I think he knew it was a big freaking deal.

I hate to say it but if the devil came up to me in November of 2010 and said he would give me the Camback and a national championship, but in return no road wins against our big rivals for 10 years...I probably would have taken it. Maybe someone did :0 :devil:

I'm sure somebody posted the video but I must have missed it. Anybody want to hook me up? Can't find it on the googles.

Man, I do like Harsin's business approach...it will take time but the players will learn to respect it and enjoy the "non-business" side when it is time to let loose/relax.

If you are going to businesslike with 18-22 year olds, you have to be able to loosen up when that is deserved too like breaking the 1999 curse. Good on Harsin and this team. Let's go boys!

3-1 against arkansas at Arkansas during Gus’ tenure.

What else mattered??”
