Per SaturdayDownSouth....

Smart offered an update on assistant coach Scott Cochran, who left the team before the season for health reasons.

“He’s actually in town right now,” Smart said. “He’s visiting with his family and with us temporarily. … He’ll hopefully join us in the next couple of weeks.”

Smart added that he didn’t know if Cochran will resume his special teams coordinator role this season.

“We haven’t defined all that out,” Smart said. “Right now we’re worried about his family and safety and we’re not really concerned about that.”[resuming special teams coord]

Hopefully, he'll be well enough to re-join the team, soon.

Ain't no demons. He's just a dope addict. If he wants enough to quit then he can. No different than Steve Sarkisian except for his substance of choice, but Sarkisian is mocked on the regular around here.

I would note that when I was young, nobody partied harder than I did. I quit when I got tired of the consequences.

the substances were ...what you got?

the consequences were waking up feeling like shite, pissing off or just disappointing people I loved, dui, getting arrested for possession, which is embarrassing and costs money....consequences are many.

This article about KMAC has this subject on my mind. Have a former teammate locked up in prison for the criminally insane bc of addiction.

Typical UGA employing a scumbag drug addict. If I was the parent of a recruit this would raise some redflags...

That's so bullshite. Do you think SC was pushing Vyvanse/Xanax or the like on kids?

Who knows what that addict does when he's under the influence (which sounds like it's often)... Just not a good look

This is rich considering LSU's HC is a recovered cocaine addict and alcoholic

Have you ever had a friend/family with an addiction problem. If so, did you feel the same way about them, or did you find a little compassion?
