Isn’t this basically aTm’s entire existence explained in one sentence?

Struggle to look even decent in week 1 against vastly inferior competition. Follow that up with overhyped wins against down teams that didn't look formidable at all and I just don't see how there can be confidence going into this week.

Now I know it's fun to hop on the bandwagon of the Cinderella, but considering the recent trend of catastrophic seasons and historical tendency to be humbled when on the cusp of challenging the truly elite it's tough to justify the level of confidence I've seen on display. With another representative of the truly elite class of college football up next this week, I certainly hope Georgia fans can keep things in perspective and aren't too hard on their boys for coming up short in the limelight yet again.

2014, State skyrocketed from unranked to #1 in just after beating then #8 LSU, #6 A&M, and #2 Auburn in consecutive weeks. Those three teams all finished with identical 8-5 records and 2/3 (Auburn and LSU) lost their bowl games.

Yea but that was a really good team. Lost to Bama by 5. Then our POS D coordinator quit trying against OM and the bowl game because he had another job lined up

It's all about mismatches.

I don't know how Ark and UGA match up, but may be surprised.
I'd like to think our lines are big and strong enough to at least compete in the trenches. Under Pittman that's usually not a terrible assumption. If we can get some push I think we'll make a closer game of it than most think.

UGA has a history of folding when the other team brings it. Will be fun to watch.

Must suck having an overall losing record to both Arkansas and Texas then, huh?

I'm sure you guys will be national champs of the offseason though.

Pretty easy to understand, it’s the first sign of life you guys have had in a long time, people are going to take it and run with it.

You guys have some good matchups in the game, so you will certainly test UGA.

I say let them live their championship pedigree vicariously through Jimbo's time at FSU. I personally find it funny.

Certainly you are good to have your opinion, but I have an honest question...which match ups do you see as problematic for Georgia against Arkansas?
