Sorry if this has been discussed. I haven't seen it so far.
Why isn't Sanogo on the field more? Is he hurt? Are they playing him #2 behind Campbell? Thx

I believe he got passed up on the depth chart.

Thanks. That's the only conclusion I could come to, on he indeed was listed as #2 behind Campbell. And certainly after his freshman year Momo perhaps hasn't quite lived up to his potential, but given his ability it seems really unfortunate that they can't find a place for him.

He’s honestly probably not playing much at all when SEC play starts. He’s simply to slow to play in the SEC. He hasn’t played until the 2nd half in both games.

Y'all think he was faster pre-injury?

Campbell passed him on the depth chart.

I'm sure of it. Wasn't it an ACL tear? That's hard to come back 100% from.

I haven’t missed watching him fail to chase down opposing players. Good thing he didn’t start against Austin Peay.

Seems like Tony Conner. On paper an experienced veteran who at one point was hyped as one of the best linebackers with promise pre injury. After injury, doesn’t seem to have anywhere near the same mobility, which sucks. Still early in the season though, maybe in rotation he makes some big plays.

Well Momo wasn’t ruined by Hugh Freeze that’s a key difference

Before his injury his speed, agility, acceleration were not his strongest attributes. Post injury he seems to have lost a notch in those areas that he was already less than outstanding in

What players did Freeze ruin?

Tony Conner. He had hurt his knee a week or so earlier, but instead of sitting him and letting him recover, Freeze played him and sure enough he blew the knee out. Conner was never the same

Pretty certain the way it went down was Conner tore cartilage in that knee, had surgery and might have been allowed to come back a little too soon.

My understanding was it was a sprained knee and he needed to sit a few weeks, but I might be mistaken
