That running back they’ve got is legit, but unless their quarterback does a 180 from week 1 (which he might idk) we win the game if we can stop number 5. The defense looked good but it seems to just be more talented along the line of scrimmage than Louisiana, not really anything special and their linebackers looked slow to me. Whichever qb shows the most improvement from week1 to 2 is probably the difference in the game

We should be able to get a decent pass rush, their offensive line did not impress me

Good thing we aren’t missing a starting linebacker for the first half because of targeting

I think missing bumper affects depth more than anything because Hayden is supposedly just as good and now we’ll have him back

Robinson is a stud, but I noticed Louisiana tackling was suspect. I thought we tackled very well against Rice.

Big drop off from Pool to Henry.

Pool has more lateral quickness than Henry and was all over the field last Saturday. He is also decent in pass coverage.

Catalon is the best player on defense. Pool is second. Morgan is third. Parker and Henry are at the bottom. Those two are either not very athletic or not smart players. Morgan is the smartest linebacker of them all.

Henry got the OR starting spot along with Pool

Coaches do the OR for various reasons but Sam knows Pool is superior to Henry but like any coach isn't going to say anything negative as it is coach speak.

Don't agree with this at all. He had broken ribs last year but Pool graded out pretty poorly despite all the tackles. He also missed a lot of them.

Didn't Bumper go out in the first half? If so I think we have him for the rest of the next game.

Or is that something they've changed?

No grant went out in the first half. Grant is available for the entire game Saturday and bumper will be available for the 2nd half

He rarely leaves the field as Arkansas has no depth. So rotation is scarce which means pool will tire quickly or he will play hurt. But a fresh pool early in the game doesn't have issues with tackling but he rarely gets any rest. The same with Morgan.

They were listed as an OR on the week 1 depth chart

Yep but Pool will still be the starter for the remainder of the year unless injured or ejected from games.

I'm going for potential in the NFL draft. Catalon is looking at 1-3 rounds. Pool is 4-7 and Morgan is looking at being
undrafted and he might be CFL material if my CFL general manager friend is interested.

The Texas QB making plays and KJ not throwing picks is going to be the tale of the tape in this one. If the Texas QB can make plays we will have to use LB's to help more in pass coverage and open up more running lanes for Robinson.

Robinson will still probably bust out once or twice even if we do a good job. I'm more nervous about Briles keeping KJ out of bad situations though.

Card did not impress me a lot. He moved like he thinks he’s mayfield or manziel and he’s not near as athletic as they were, way slower.
