One Article is even talking about a possible replacement for Ed Orgeron
With Ed Orgeron moving toward the hottest of hot seats, if he's not there already, here are five candidates to replace him as the head coach at LSU.
5. Joe Brady, Carolina Panthers Offensive Coordinator
4. Jeff Traylor, UTSA Head Coach
3. Stoops
2. Will Healy, Charlotte head coach
1. Billy Napier, Louisiana Head Coach

Not realistic, he doesn't like to recruit

You left off Lane K, and there is a whole thread about Jimbo F. Seems like they really want Jimbo, but I think it'll be Lane

Didn’t LSU get turned down by two other coaches before settling on O?
Shouldn’t there be a list of coaches who turn down LSU first?

Rush Propst would be a good fit.

Hugh Freeze will take it, if the Blonde with big boobs that is seen with Coach O comes with the job.

Would gladly take any of them.

Pretty obvious it’s Napier’s job if he wants it.
He coaches 50 miles away, has shown sustainability (what O is lacking), has experience under Saban and seems primed to take a big job soon. Asked too much for his staff at USCe last offseason realizing it was a job that’s really hard to have major success at, and chose to wait it out for bigger fish. Makes total sense, he will not win less than 9 at UL, his job security is 100%, he’s just waiting for a big opening to call, and they likely will after they can the snake oil salesmen that tries to fight everybody.

Why not Dave Aranda?
Surely LSU has the jack to re-hire Dave over Baylor, right?

Napier will be taking the Clemson job eventually once Dabi goes on to Alabama. I’m not saying you won’t get him, but when Clemson opens it might be near impossible to keep him.
