Why do we have to say it?

Let’s see how the season plays and then thump our chest.

I like your overconfidence by the team with a midget at qb. It ain't business as usual this year.

For a team that took 4 quarters to put away UNC with their best players sitting out for the draft, and now saying you'll assuredly beat Bama in 2021,are you sure you want to talk about overconfidence?

How many more head coaches do yall plan on hiring in the next 6 or 7 years? 2 more?

Hopefully 0. I really like Sark & the staff that he hired. If it were up to me, I would give him 5-6 years * and give him everything that he needs.

* assuming he isn’t Charlie Strong

Herman would still be coaching if he hadn’t lost the locker room. The guy was actually a pretty good coach imo. He got in own way several times, but the EOT issue in Dallas was the last straw. He was done at that point.

Sark & pretty much his whole staff have some good skins on the wall. Sark has been a good QB / OC for a while now.. the offense will be fine. Texas will not be 2020 Alabama great on offense this year, but we did average 43 ppg last year with a QB who wasn’t the best passer. Some of that was due to 3 OT games, so the real number was 38 I think. I think 35 ppg is very doable this year.

The key will be defense. PK is a great DC. I think 20 ppg is the goal on defense this year, and we will
win a lot of games if we get close to those 2 numbers.

9-4 or better is where I think Texas finishes this year. I think we have a good chance to make the Big 12 title game, but Oklahoma will be very hard to beat if we make it. This will be the best sooner team in a while imo.

PS I love Sam, don’t get me wrong. I would suit him up to play for Texas all day every day. I just think today’s game is all about the pass, and both Card and Thompson can sling the rock better than Sam. TBD if they can be even 50% of the leader that he was..

0-3

Yeah my brain is apparently not working yet..
what does 0-3 stand for?

Fun unrelated fact that I came across yesterday..

A&M last NC in 1939 is closer to the start of the Civil War (78 years) than it is to today (80+ years)..

I'm calling my shot here. Saban will finally get beat by a former assistant and it will be Jimbo Fisher.

A&M will be 11-1 going into the SEC championship game (1 loss from either Ole Miss or LSU)
Bama will be 11-1 sitting outside looking in
LSU will be at most 10-2
Ole Miss will be at most 9-3

A&M beats Georgia in the SECCG, goes on to their first playoff birth.

LSU and Texas posters will evacuate this board till basketball season.

Man, I love what you're drinking. Please pass that maroon Kool-Aid.

Last year A&M's style was to wear teams down and run away in the 4th quarter. No shame in a double digit win over a well coached team with a future NFL First Round pick at QB. the style worked against everyone but Bama last year. This year we have a much more dynamic QB that has wheels and he likes to throw deep. The question is if the added playmaking can overcome the inevitable mistakes.

Bama is loaded but you are also replacing a LOT of talent and it's dangerous to assume that the new guys will be just as good as the old. Maybe they will, maybe not. Will also be interesting to see how they handle what will be an insane environment at Kyle after playing all of last year in Covid style mortuary stadiums. Maybe your new QB just steps up and crushes it, maybe not.

You realize Alabama has won 6 national titles in the past 12 seasons… Or do you just pretend the past didn’t happen like most Aggies?

Of course I do. Bama is loaded. They aren't invincible though and they have lost football games in those 12 years. They even lost one to A&M. This is probably the most talented team A&M has had since the early 90s.

You clowns are severely underestimating how disruptive it is to be introducing a new QB and a new Oline at the same time.

You aren't allowed to predict that TAMU is going to beat Bama and still lose a game.

No doubt.

The deficiency is with who your head coach is.

I have already called it.

A&M beats Bama but blows it by losing to two or more other conference teams and loses the W.
