Someone will pick him up. Broncos were always a bad landing spot.

Broncos are stacked at WR. It was a weird draft choice for them, it was talked about some locally. I think most fans here wanted him to make the roster

I mentioned this a while back. It was always going to be a struggle for him to make the team.

Auburn wide receivers need to stop leaving after their junior seasons.

Personally, I hope that they all leave after their JR years and are all drafted...that would mean we have a great team and are getting great WRs coming...

In a perfect world, sure, but it helps Auburn more if they’re actually prepared for the NFL and find success.

Sammie Coates, Darvin Adams, Seth Williams and Anthony Schwartz. 4 guys. Darvin Adams never sniffed the NFL, Sammie Coates washed out and was obviously unprepared, Seth Williams is already cut (albeit still with a chance to find success) and Anthony Schwartz is yet to be seen.

It’s just unreal how little NFL WR success Auburn has had historically.

I hold out hope for Darius Slayton. It’s been fun watching him at least have some success so far.

Man, talk about a guy who could really have benefited from Harsin’s approach to offense…. I think our receivers are getting a real education on how to read defenses, run routes, and perceive the game at a higher level than Gus’ high school route “tree”. Seth would really have benefitted from that.

I don't think Harsin would have tolerated his piss-poor attitude and loafing when the ball didn't come his way. I think Williams' best bet is hope to nail down $200k-ish a year in the CFL.

Exactly...

Seth might have never made the 2 deep if his practice and mental attitude had not changed under Harsin...

But he sure could have used a pro-style offense and a better passing coach to give him more technique training before heading to the NFL...

He would have made more coming back and signing some NIL deals.

Well, sucks for him, but I don't even care. Let's see where his work ethic takes him from here on out in life.

just wondering - what would happen if Seth claimed his deal with the Broncos was just an NIL thing that didn’t work out, and came back for his final year of eligibility?

I mean, does it really matter anymore?

I don't follow the NFL much because I don't have a vested interest like Auburn football. That being said, and as part of my obvious ignorance, who was the last stud/productive NFL wide receiver that come out of AU?
