My son just told me the game was only going to be available on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
Can anybody confirm that? And do you have to subscribe to either of those or would it be available through your cable or satellite provider?
We are just now going through our cross-country schedules and trying to figure out what games we are going to be able to see at this point.

Your cable or satellite provider should ensure access. You'll have to get something like a roku or a firestick access them though.

ESPN+ is available in a bundle that includes Hulu and Disney+ for like 13 or 14 bucks a month. Completely worth it.
OR, if you have an Unlimited Data plan with Verizon, that bundle might already be included in it. You just have to sign up for it on the Verizon website. It's not included in all of Verizon's unlimited plans. I think just the ones that start at like $70 a month.

Thank you guys. We have Directv and I have watched some games or parts of them on the ESPN, but that was in the absence of a TV but don't think they were exclusive to the app.
I'm actually pretty excited to see this one!

So SEC is not showing it on sec alternate ?

I think that is what SECN + is.

I don’t think it’s the same thing

I think that is a 12 month deal... I have unlimited data with Verizon and the salesguy said it would work as long as we had that plan, but when I think I saw somewhere that it is actually limited to the 12 months.. I could be wrong.

I saw the schedule earlier and checked. I have the SECN and it said I would be able to watch the game.
............or so that's how I read it.

3. ESPN+ is a paid subscription. Do I have to pay separately to access SEC Network+?
No. SEC Network+ is part of your pay TV subscription.

I’ve got like 37 subscriptions and I’m going to rage if this game isn’t somehow on one of them

If you have a cable subscription, it should be no different than watching the A-day game. I believe it was SECN+

me too.
The one good thing is it's at 6 P.M. I am going to check the 11 game first and and subscribe if necessary. I will cancel it after the first month. I believe I read an article that said up to one game a year would be televised on a + channel.

Sounds like a good idea. I don't want to open it up at gametime and realize I can't see it.

I have done some more digging.........

In other words.............if you already get the SECN, you will be able to watch the game.

SEC Network is a live 24-hour television network.
SEC Network Alternate is an additional television channel. It is not live 24-hours a day. Content only appears on the channel on occasion when games overlap.
SEC Network+ provides hundreds of additional digital only events to fans through the ESPN app on smartphones, computers, and tablets, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. SEC Network+ is not a television channel.

Pretty insane that the inaugural game for Harsin’s tenure isn’t going to be available on TV.
I get streaming is gaining popularity, but you can’t convince me that this game isn’t a more intriguing watch than these 3 games:
ULM at Kentucky (SECN) 11:00
LaTech at Mississippi State (ESPNU) 4:00
Central Michigan at Mizzou (SECN) 4:00
