Alabama occasionally plays my other alma mater in various sporting events. I always pull for Alabama.

I think marriage is also a valid reason to root for a team, if a spouse went there it’s yours too. Finally when you are paying for your kid to go someplace it’s cool. These are the only times when referring to the team as “we” are valid outside of alumni.

Blow U has the most t shirt fans.

Every Indian in Sequoyah county has a Blow U cap and not one can tell you Blow U's record last season.

But they got meth

Meh, these are schools after all. Really the only valid reasons are that you attended the University, or your kid is on the athletic team.

Other than my amazing university, the only other team I would even remotely root for is SMU, they're a mini version of us.

If you didn’t graduate from there, your parents didn’t graduate from there, or your spouse didn’t graduate from there - you can’t be a fan, simple as. Don’t care what anyone says or believes.

That’s literally what separates CFB from gay corporate SJW fest pro-sports.

Being a t-shirt, bandwagoners, sidewalk, whatever you want to call it … is pathetic.

SEC members....go easy on Texas-Austin. We don't need a bunch of guys wiping their tears and blowing their noses wearing SEC shirts.

Just kidding. HORNS DOWN SEC NATION is gonna be a great calling card moving forward. #hornsdownsecnation

Horn fans love to talk on forums and post fake news on the Internet but this is the reality of their football program. And yes, we are talking about their program today! No living in the past Sips...you don't get that privilege as our SEC newbies. The taunting is just starting across all the pre-existing SEC teams. Earn you keep by shutting your holes until you can win 80% of your Big 12 games! And that's gonna be a serious challenge for Sark and team.

Well, that explains your behavior I guess. Many such cases, very sad.

Melt about it bitch.

That is, until the banhammer drops.

I've heard you're on a short leash.

Yeah? Did a moderator of a school message board that you didn’t even actually attend tell you that?

Want to know what happened in South Carolina after Clemson started making the playoffs every year? Suddenly, Clemson shite sprung up everywhere! Now, mind you, you will find Tater shite always throughout the entirety of SC. But the middle school graduates and GED recipients were/are out in full force now.

Only reason it makes me like OU/UTa to the SEC. I bet the really good programs in the ACC are a bit worried about being on the outside looking in..

For years many KU basketball fans were magically Nebraska football fans.

I knew people like this when I was going to South Carolina... they were Gamecock football fans, but would either be a UNC or Duke bball fan.

So because i didn't graduate from bama, your degree qualifies as a better fan than someone who attended school on an athletic scholarship??? Interesting precedent you are setting here. You probably are a better fan than say Mike Evans, JFF, Myles Garrett, etc

Yes. That is 100% what I’m telling you.

Uh, yes, without a doubt.

It’s like saying you can be an Aggie without ever attending Silver Taps, Muster, Midnight Yell, getting your ring, standing all game at a Kyle Field yelling your arse off, and having an actual diploma from the university.

No, that’s not how this works.
