After reading the position group breakdown on ITAT, I really am encouraged by the make up of this team. I hope they can stay healthy on the OL and DL and they'll be a force to be reckoned with when they ride into Happy Valley.

OL notwithstanding, looking at our roster makes me feel so much better. Often when a coach is fired it’s just assumed there is no talent. Our D is stacked and we have plenty of talent even according to media’s all-sec prediction. Hopefully it can all come together, and if it does, we could be in a great foot for 2022.

I’m weirdly optimistic about OL since they’re all like 5th year seniors

What's the scoop on Sean Jackson? Who is he?

Is it crazy to think Worm won’t be RB2 by the end of the season? Maybe RB3?

That’s where I read it. I wouldn’t say it’s out of the realm of possibilities. I did find it interesting that people from the Senior Bowl said Shaun Shivers could get drafted.

Brenden Coffey, Kilian Zierer, Elijah Canion, Jarquez Hunter, Bo Nix, Zykevious Walker, Colby Wooden, Desmond Tisdol, Donovan Kaufman, Zion Puckett.

Bo, Hunter, and Kaufman aren't surprising to me. Very encouraging to see the two former JUCO OTs though.

3 star preferred walkon out of Hewitt-Trussville.

Check out his Hudl hightlights and tell me what you think for a walkon...

I'm impressed for a walkon! He kinda gives me Kam Pettway vibes. He doesnt seem to seek out collisions the way KP did at Prattville HS but still a physical runner. I'm a fan!

Great blocker. Great Hands. Plenty of burst just shorter and doesn't have homerun speed but hard to tackle. He was a 1st team 7A running back last year along with his backfield mate shithead Armoni Goodwin.

I've known Sean since he was 4 years old. Crazy to think he finally made it.

Are you his NIL agent? (just kidding).

I love guys like this if the offense uses him right. If he is as powerful as he is being touted, he would be perfect in a 1st and goal situation whether he is used to pound it or if he is the gunner for Tank and plowing those LBs in the hole...:)

It is wrong that I'm hoping Harsin is more successful against LSU & UGA than Alabama. I just want to start back beating those 2 on a regular basis

Harsin talks to media this afternoon. Looks like reporters get 5 practice windows this fall camp which they seem to be pretty happy about.

Mason and Bobo talk on Monday. First day in pads is Tuesday. First scrimmage is next Saturday

If the OL can be average in pass protection they will be a top 3-4 SEC OL, especially now that Brahms is stronger and hopefully won't get blown up in the middle. We are going to rush the ball against everyone until they bring 7-8 to the box. Then we have to pass block.

And when the OL feel there is still a QB standing within their solid semi-circle, then can get even MORE confident in their pass blocking, instead of looking around for their QB like last year.

Good point and no argument from me. Hopefully Bobo can coach the diarrhea-pants out of Nix and he'll take some licks as he's delivering some ropes.
