Rocky Top is at least a decent song. Boomer Sooner fails all basic rules of composition

Rocky Top was written by a guy from Kentucky who got him a girl from East Tennessee. He came to like the corn squeezins, too.

If there was a contest between ou, Tenessee and the University of Houston for most annoying fight song it would end in a draw. All those tasked with listening and choosing would commit suicide rather than listen.

I just wish they wouldn’t do the “woo” when singing Rocky Top. Don’t remember hearing that as a kid. Turned a great song annoying in my opinion.
