This looks more like a negotiating tactic to get more money from the little children. They are announcing they will not renew the new grant of rights in 2025.

"both universities will continue to monitor the rapidly evolving collegiate athletics landscape as they consider how best to position their athletics programs for the future."

I'm waiting on the official, "tu and Ou signed an agreement to enter the SEC". I'm gauging that they will take from the little kids in the b12 in order to make $56 million/yr for oU and tU ONLY. This is how they operate. I wish stankey would take notice to their childish games.

The question now is do the remaining schools keep the conference together long enough to make OU and t.u. pay up? Or do they just blow it up now and go looking for new homes?

The only good thing that comes from this is poor Baylor and TCU left conference less

That's what I saw on the CBS site. Sportscaster said four more years for the Big 12. But the "however" is the statement that gets them out earlier.
