How does Arkansas and Missouri feel?

Are y’all all in or do you have reservations about Texas coming? I know both have a history with Texas. Maybe not as much with Missouri but Arkansas certainly does.
Nothing would be better than Arkansas kicking their arse this season.

Big no on Texas personally, but looks inevitable, it is what it is.

Cool with it, good for the conference. Will never personally like Texas.

Well then they’d fit right in. You’re not supposed to like conference rivals.

I feel great! This is bad for A&M and LSU in recruiting, slightly good for us, we get our natural rival back and the CFB empire just lit it's foundation on fire. I'm grabbing my fiddle and heading to the roof to watch it burn

The big issue with UTex is that they wreck conferences with their greed, not that they are super competitive in football.
No concern that they will be able to wreck the SEC like they did with the B12 and SWC. So not that concerned with their addition to the SEC

Bad for A&M. Not for LSU. Louisiana will always be a talent rich state. We don’t rely too much on Texas. We get some but not like OU does.

Texas has the problems that they have because they view themselves superior to all others. This view point has caused an inflection point of a current downgrade in play.
It is humorous really to watch. Would be glad to have em in the SEC for Basketball and Baseball alone.

Give me a 12 team SEC

I’m indifferent on OU but any day that you get the opportunity to beat Texas should be considered a good day.

No, not really. We're fine, if we get the best in Louisiana. Even in UT's good years, we cherry picked out of Texas. It'll continue, especially now that we play them regularly.

I prefer no expansion.
Not opposed to the proposed additions if we do expand.

Aggy cheating and being taken off TV killed the SWC.
Aggy refusing to quit unequal revenue sharing and turning down the LHN partnership killed the big 12.
Carry on.

I think Texas is toxic and I think Oklahoma is their enabler. I'm not thrilled about it but fine.

Between millionaire teenage thug foobawlers in every college town and super-conferences, I'm guessing my emotional connection to college sports in general is about to take a big nose-dive.
It's like they're inventing new ways to frick everything up, every year now.

Not going anywhere, but Texas has already created disunity without joining yet and it’s concerning going forward.

I feel excited a bout it. Playing those two teams gives us more of a geographical rivals and the fans can have better travel opportunities.
Arkansas is an afterthought and so isolated in the SEC. We are far enough that we don't interact at all with rival fans and thus are indifferent a bout them. It makes sense financially that Arkansas made the move to the SEC but geographically it doesn't make as much sense. But Arkansas was willing to sacrifice familiarity and leave the past behind to join a more successful conference.
Now with Texas and Oklahoma that borders the state of Arkansas, Arkansas fans have a much better experience and some sort of belonging.

Honestly I feel like it benefits Arkansas more than any team, while at the same time kills Aggy.

Playing both of them in sports is great, but yeah, Texas doesn't understand the concept of revenue sharing.

If the TX pipeline were to be shut off for LSU (which is unlikely), it wouldn't hurt us as much as people think. Miles signed about 4 guys per year from TX while he was at LSU, and CEO is signing less than that at about 2 per year from TX, instead preferring to grow LSU's recruiting footprint beyond LA, TX, MS, FL, and GA.
