Yeah I’ve wondered about his ranking there. The top RB on a lot of teams board doesn’t seem like the #9 back to me

That kid looks like a monster. Those are number he has built up while playing football. Imagine what it would be if he were a full time powerlifter. Very impressed

It don't matter. He was the number one running back on our board even when he was rated a 3 star by every recruiting site.

In a very unfair move he has been compared to nick Chubb. Similar build, excellent vision and power and makes good cuts.
Like I said, people make unfair comparisons and it puts a ton of pressure on the kids.
We are very happy to get him....and in fairness to the Alabama poster the thread title does seem designed to inflame.
I have a feeling we are very happy to get Robinson just as Alabama is very happy to have their RBs for this cycle. And both teams should be happy.

Dude says "we have two RBs higher......" Fact is he probably never stepped foot on the Bama campus and got his tshirt from WalMart. That makes him a "we".

To be fair , Branson is a hoss and will likely push 5 star on all services. Already at 16 on Rivals which is 5 star placement.
With that said, there are certainly cases where the statement is silly and only said because they are commited to said team.

Mississippi doesn't put out a ton of great recruits, but the ones they do put out are of very high quality.
