But Kirby? That's questionable.
IMO UGA has the best 2021 SEC roster. If Kirby is going to finally beat Saban this is his year.
Dawg fans, give me some confidence that Kirby won't lay and egg.

Saban would have already won a couple of championships with some of the rosters Kirby has had. That's why he's the GOAT.

Both of you forgot that the reason Kirby has not won a championship or two is because Saban is at Bama, not UGA. The real question is whether Saban could take UGA's roster and beat Bama coached by Saban. Kind of a mind-bender.

Not last year. But this year, probably. UGA might have some WRs that can catch and a QB to get the ball to them this year.

Possible. I am worried about our secondary this year. And I think Young is going to be the real deal at Bama.

Saban might have won a NC with the 2013 State team. One could make that argument.

If saban could just barely beat Kirby in 17 and 18 with a bama roster, I have my doubts about the op’s claim.

Saban would win the NC with the roster of UGA, LSU, A&M, and UF. He will likely win it with Bama.

Not saying he will or won’t, but I don’t understand the narrative. Kirby took UGA to the NC in only his 2nd year as a HC, and this will only be his 6th. Take Saban out of the mix and Kirby would probably have 2 NCs. I think we’d all agree that Saban is a pretty decent coach.

If Saban went to Georgia as a third act and won a championship, then was asked to rank the schools, why would LSU be the worst of the 3?

There is no doubt Kirby's coaching has cost us two NCs that any of a handful of other coaches would have won with our talent.
My concern is that Kirby's only real value is that he knows how Sabans bagman scheme worked and was applying it here at UGA.
With NIL now in play, Kirby's value falls to basically nothing because he can't scheme or coach on game day any more successfully then someone like a Jeremy Pruitt.
Kirby's clock is ticking.

I have no doubt we beat Clemson and get to the Natty and win it as well.
This IS the year and if it's NOT, then Kirby might not win one at UGA.
This team is super loaded across the board and with upper classmen. No excuse IMO

No doubt? Maybe get yourself a little doubt. Maybe take the season one game at a time like everyone else until UGA is actually hoisting that trophy.
