He’s in the portal to go who knows where.

Not surprising. Never really found his place due to being shuffled around so much.

Risky move, unless he already has a landing spot. He doesn't really have any film to show anyone. Maybe UCF?

Jus to keep track.

Barrett stands as the eighth Auburn player to enter the transfer portal since the spring, joining defensive end Jaren Handy, defensive lineman Jay Hardy, safety Chris Thompson Jr., cornerback Kamal Hadden, cornerback Marco Domio, offensive tackle Prince Sammons and wide receiver Hal Presley.

This could be true but he also seems like one of those athletes that just might not have a true position on the field

Where are all the people who we're so convinced he would contribute this year.. I need someone to laugh at right now. I can't believe people we're still buying into him lol. I wish him luck though, He might find a small school willing to give him a shot.

I;m just trying to figure out why Barrett at this stage of his college career decided he wanted to get out?

He stayed during a coaching change, a move back to RB, a spring workout session, RB transfer and another RB signing and the start of summer workouts...so why now?

He was probably getting tired of promises and coaches not coming through.

...or him not meeting the challenge. It works both ways.

When he moved back to RB he was the 3rd guy (by default) then we picked up 2 more RBs and he slid to 5th.

Gus's fault for not letting him run the ball 15 times a game. Gus must not have liked him

... or he's had a honest conversion or evaluation

... or seen the handwriting on the wall

... or wants to play his final year or move on from fotball

I found a couple of mostly positive Barrett takes

On the down side, Trinidad gets to keep bringing MAR back up. Speaking of MAR, can we retire the rumor that he was in the dog house/ Gus refused to use him? Because he bolted right to UCF to play for Gus some more

Boobie bolted from Westen Illinois and entered the transfer portal. Geez. Was he really that bad?

There was that poster that said he would never see the field. Then he started for two seasons before transferring out. Anyway, that poster was alluding to some off the field issues regarding Boobie. My guess is that his issues are between the ears and not between the sidelines.

Still, to this day, his high school highlight reel was the worst football I have ever seen. Whitlow was the QB and every snap was it’s own mini game.

Maybe bad in highschool but he was a solid back for us other than his fumbling. But of course, it was Gus who was at fault for him leaving

Boobie - Gus is bad
Mar - Gus is bad
Barrett - Gus is bad
Roc - Gus is bad

I know there was like 5 more but I think we get the picture. Gus/Man boobs is bad. All dem backs were awesome. Just picked on by man boobs
