Wasn't it pretty heavily insinuated by folks that Mitchell's dad was openly shopping him for guarantees (not sure if it was $ or other things)?

I believe so. I can't keep with what all of these kids are asking for. I follow it a little here and there. But, I don't get too wrapped up in it.

Agreed. I think the context was his recruitment had been long and weird and winding because coaches weren't sure what to make of his dad and all the asks being put out there.

I see LSU being anywhere from a 5-8 seed. 10 is too low, talented team. Will be Wade’s first test in committing to a defensive unit while he’s been at LSU (his previous teams had great success on D)

Sucks tre Mitchell was a last second tease again but on paper lsu is a solid 10 deep. Love what efton Reid and Colbert bring down low. Then fudge looks like your prototypical 3. We’ve got the Cincinnati transfer and leblanc down low for some really talented depth.
LSU’s seed is going to live and die by Miller and Pinson. Not difficult to see why Miller could have a monster season. Also lsu has a nice corps of freshmen coming back.
I get the sec will be stacked but love him or hate him will Wade always has lsu in the race (at least top 4) and given what the roster looks like I see no reason to suggest that won’t be the case again. At some point I can’t help but wonder when the board will admit Pear is pretty damn solid

I would be happy if Arkansas finishes in the top 5 of the sec. I dont believe there will be a team in the conference to win 4 straight conference games. Imo
