Put 50 on Arky who got to the SEC title game
Arky wasn't elite that year, and I think you know that. They won the West, yes, but they might have been the weakest team in history of the SEC to win their division. But I get your point. USC has taken care of business vs the SEC, no doubt. And you can acknowledge that LSU has taken care of the PAC-10.

The Pac 10 has alot of catching up to do. Seeing how the SEC has owned the PAC 10 historically. Even if the PAC 10 won the next 10 games head to head the SEC still owns the PAC 10 overall.
These are the facts, and they are indisputable.
I realize that the Southeastern (SEC) and Pacific Ten (Pac-10) conferences are probably more different, from one another, than any other two college football conferences. But I just don't get the jealously of the PAC 10 fans have against the SEC conference. Kinda of like Mexico (pac 10) trying to compare itself to the USA (SEC).
Is it b/c an eite team like USC (not south carolina but the trojans) deep down inside wants to be apart of an elite conference so if they win the conference championship game it will have a higer meaning? Or is it b/c fans here actually care about football and go to the games.
SEC made $127.2 million for the 2007-2008 fiscal year what did the PAC 10 make?
Yes UCLA beat Tenn., that must have made the PAC 10 fans with little man syndrome feel alittle better. But do you know what was actually a joke and very pathetic about that game? All the empty seats at the Rose Bowl stadium. That was freaking joke and showed how many people care about college football on the west coast. UCLA was opening game against an ranked opponent. Or the fact that Washington played a ranked opponent at home and the stadium looked like it was half empty. This was pathetic and a joke. If a SEC team plays a Division 1 AA school then game is sold out. If a Pac 10 team plays a ranked opponent from another BCS conference then their are more empty seats than you can count. You can counter with "but the PAC 10 record in the last 22.5 months against the SEC is ......
Really nobody cares on the west coast or even the southeastern coast.
How can you want the conferences east of the mississippi river to pay attention and bost about the Pac 10 depth as a conference if people from west coast don't even care enough to go to the games?? Answer me that.

Yes, but it won't happen. The pundits will spin that Wells was not 100% and then they won the rest of their games once he got to 100%.
Same old crap.
Same old crap.

Arky wasn't elite. Arkansas lost their last three games of the season.
Wow you beat an Arkansas team that finished the year with four loses and finished the season ranked number 16. Let me remind you kid that years finally rankings:
1. Florida
3. LSU
8. Auburn
16. Arkansas
You were shot down pretty easy on that one. Care to try again????
USC has never beaten an elite SEC team in the last 15 years?

Nobody will be glued to their seats at T/S after the 2nd Qtr of your "blockbuster" matchup with North Texas. They'll be back at the tailgate watching a "real football game".

As far as your Mexico vs. USA allegory, that would only be true if Mexico had been winning skirmishes vs. the United States in this millennium with greater frequency than not.
That's not been the case, unless you know something about Mexico beating America that you're not sharing with the rest of us?
The PAC 10 smacks the smug, self-aggrandizing, powder-puff scheduling SEC with regularity, and it's a good thing. God help us if you were as good as you thought you were!

Wrong!
Tiger Stadium is bigger than Coliseum. The coliesum is lame. They put stupid banners in the seats in one of the end zones b/c they can't fill the seats with people.
quote:

Wrong!
Last year USC averaged 87,000 fans a game. They were filling their stadium at 95%
While LSU averaged 92,619 fans a game and filled their stadium at 100.24%
quote:

Each year is different though. Glad yall are playing OSU this year. We will compare last year shall we?
USC played zero teams last year at home that were ranked at the time they played them. That's right, ZERO.
LSU played these ranked opponents at home:
Virginia Tech= 9
South Carolina= 12
Florida= 9
Auburn= 17
So recap, LSU played 4 ranked opponents at home last year while USC played the PAC 10 cup cake schedule which had ZERO ranked teams at home last year.
Strength of Schedule 2007:
LSU= 13
UAB= 55
Wyoming= 62
Louisian Tech= 69
New Mexico State= 73
Idaho= 75
Florida International= 76
Western Kentucky= 77
San Jose State= 81
USC= 83 (WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
I guess 83 is what you get when you play a Pac 10 cup cake schedule and you don't schedule any games against BCS conferences foes who are ranked in the top 10.
Why else would USC's SOS be so pathetic?

I think the SEC is 9-2 in BCS bowl games this decade (2000-2007). 8-1 the last 7 years.
I do not know what the PAC 10 is, but I doubt it is close. Take out USC and I bet it is a losing record for most while every SEC school has a winning BCS record including, LSU 4-0, UGA and UF are 2-1 each, AU 1-0.

I think USC-TV (espn/abc) should just go ahead and hand the crystal ball over to Petey Saturday night after the game. Just get it over with you know they can't wait to name the dynasty of the decade.

We beat the SEC Champs in the BCSCG, that'll be plenty good enough for me.

At first I was thinking USC would whoop that azz but now that the game is near I'm thinking OSU will pull it out. With or Without Wells. I'm thinking OSU is getting seriously tired of getting their azz whooped by top Dawgs.
I just have a gut feeling.

Doesn't really matter, LSU will blow out North Texas ,just as USC will blow out OSU!! I can't believe the hype for a game that won't even be close!!!
