With all the talk of build Kopps a statue, who realistically gets statues of the big 3 sports?

Football: Broyles, DMC, ???
Basketball: Nolan, Corliss, Moncrief, ???
Baseball: Debriyn, DVH, ???

Gotta have some parameters. Need to be in either pro or college HoF, have won the Heisman or its equivalent in your sport, won an individual gold medal or world championship, or have been a national champion, or all-time winning coach at the time of your retirement.

Those are pretty simple guidelines and it makes it so there isn't any kind of petty arguments about who is honored and who's not.

FB: Broyles, DMac, Hampton, Alworth

BBall: Nolan, Corliss, Moncreif

Baseball: Debriyn, DVH, Benny, Kopps (presuming he wins Golden Spikes).

Track: McDonnell, Mike Conley, Veronica Campbell-Brown, Omar McLeod, Tyson Gay.

Gymnastics: Katherine Grable.

Now do we put them all in one location? Or outside of the buildings for the sport?

Let's just make sure we don't go cheap on them like Texas did

If we win it all Kopps is on the Arkansas Players Mt Rushmore along with Corliss and DMac. Not sure who the 4th would be.

For the coaches its Broyls/Noland/McDonald. DVH can secure a spot if we win Omaha.

You'd have to put them outside each respective stadium or complex, almost like a museum.

Paul Eels is who I would most like to see get a statue

In general I would care less about who's in what Hall of Fame. It's just about what they mean to Arkansas.

Thurman would be my top bball choice for instance. The man won us (as of now) our only big3 title in the modern era. Nolan also has an argument.

Burlsworth would be a good choice for football.

Baseball: DVH

Baseball could add one more...

I agree, but if there aren’t limits, someone will argue Mitch Mustain, he went 9-0 guys.

Needs hard requirements.

I added Debriyn for Baseball because he laid the foundation, but if we give him one does that mean Eddie Sutton would need one?

Does this have to be harder than if you enter the Arkansas sports hall of Fame?

Yes, I feel it needs to be you made a fundamental change in the way we view the sport (Brandon Burlsworth), you won a top award for your position, you won a NC, or College/Pro HoF. Also #1 picks that spent more than 12 months on campus.
