Tenner or LSU? I’m leaning towards LSU. They’ve been there done that. The VOLs are the new kids on the block. It’s gonna be a real interesting series.

LSU is hot right now but not sure we have the pitching if it goes to 3 games

LSU is playing good right now, but Tennessee has been playing great all season. I'll take the Vols at home.

A lot of bumped threads and shite talking till next baseball season regardless of the winner

LSU has been below average against opponent aces. However, they typically tear into the other guys in the rotation. Who knows man! But I’m saying Tigahs in 3.

Tennessee is the better team but LSU is hot right now and is playing for their coach. The story is just too good for LSU to not make it to Omaha. I say LSU

It's so close IMO. LSU is just so much better than the first matchup. I realize Tennessee has improved as well. I'm gonna go with the Tigers in 3 and be a homer a little on this one.

The only players worth a shite on LSU are freshman, so I’m not sure why the accomplishments of past LSU squads means anything now.

I got Tenner over you douche.. I want to see a fifty foot tall, radioactive Serraneaux hammer raping the rant until Uncle Lew puts him to sleep.

Idk. I think that a LOT of things have to go right for us to win. Most of our arms, including some inexperienced freshmen have to have good outings. Our bats have to stay hot including against Tennessee’s best pitchers.
I think Tennessee has much more room for error
However, something just tells me this series is gonna be super close, and I have confidence in Marceaux, Hilliard, and Labas.
I’ll go Tigers in 3

Lsu is hotter right now and if they can somehow figure it out I won't be shocked, but Tennessee is a deeper team, so I lean that way. I will say this though, Tennessee has to be running out of luck by now.

I brought this up in another thread, but I'm going to resurface it here.
It's interesting how many times I've seen "LSU is hot right now" brought up while the run that UT is on isn't discussed and is considerably more impressive.
UT is 16-5* since the month of May.
Including the final series of the regular season UT has (The last 11 games):
Wins:
- Taken the series @ USC
- Run ruled Miss State in Hoover
- Run ruled Alabama in Hoover
- Skunked Florida in Hoover
- Beat Wright State in GM 1 of Knoxville Regional
- Beat Liberty in GM 2 of Knoxville Regional
- Beat Liberty in GM 3 of Knoxville Regional
Losses:
- Game 2 in final regular season series @ USC
- Against Alabama in GM 1 of Hoover on a bizarre dick slap interference call in the 9th inning
- Against Arkansas in the SEC Tournament Championship game
UT has outscored their opponents over those 11 games a total of 69-35 with the majority of those numbers being put up in post season play against strong competition.
The bats are hot right now and the pitching staff has been playing at a high level.
UT wins a tough series and proves that LSU is getting the hype because of the name on the front of their jersey and not because of the skill level of their squad this season.

I honestly cannot wait to watch this series.
Gut tells me LSU.
Good luck to both!

Have we looked at the rulebook?
Is there any way that both teams can lose?
