Why do other things that don’t appeal to certain people paid for by student fees? You can’t spend every dollar on every one, every time.

Because ten grand is a hiccup in the overall budget of the U of A? This isn't my thing, thank you very much, but the U of A probably spends more than 10 grand on buying free condoms for the students. In terms of our overall football budget it is something like 2 minutes of our overall budget.
Who gives a flying fart about ten grand spent on a drag show? Unless this challenges your sexuality then who cares? We did it, fine, that's great, not my cup of tea, but who gives a shite?

To play devil's advocate, call me when there is a Puritan Diet Coke Bar on Dickson marketing to only the righteous kids. Afterall, there has to be a giant amount of money to be made on those >>> 1%.
