Kirby's never signed one of his players
Kirby was co-DC at Bama when they signed Josh Chapman in 2007. I think that's the only Propst player signed by either program.

So the GHSA believes him
I think he's on "administrative leave" while they investigate, and it sounds like they are also looking to revoke his teaching certificate.
I'm guessing he'll eventually be fired, and probably banned from coaching or teaching in Georgia.

It’s a shame. Dude lost his wife over on the Alabama board to stage 4 cancer just recently and you got assholes like this just getting a pass in life. Why does human waste like this guy continue to have a life pass?
Odd you mention that. Propst survived four cancer surgeries and a long course of multiple radiation treatments before resuming his shenanigans at Colquitt.

I remember he basically had the WR job but having affairs and girlfriends extra wives cost him the job.

Propst's most high-profile overall recruit might arguably be Chad Jackson, who played for Urban Meyer at Florida in 2005 and was selected by the Patriots.
Probably the most notable to sign with Alabama under Propst was Josh Chapman. He was part of the 2009 and 2011 teams that won national championships, and was drafted by the Colts.
More recent SEC players out of Hoover would be Marlon Humphrey (Alabama/Ravens), Jeremiah Moon (Florida), George Pickens (Georgia), Will Reichard (Alabama), and now Dylan Pauley (Vanderbilt), but those were under a different head coach.

Word back then was that Saban was willing to talk with him, asked him if the allegations (of a second family) were true, and when Propst replied in the affirmative, that was the end of it.
Yep. Saban interviewed him (pretty sure for an off the field job) in Tuscaloosa. Saban started calling around doing background immediately after the interview and someone told him the rumor. Propst said he got the call from Saban before he even made it back to Hoover. Saban asked if it was true. He admitted it, and was told he was no longer under consideration.
quote:
The interview stretched to three hours. Saban seemed impressed. On the drive home, Propst called his girlfriend. He nailed it, he told her. The dream would soon be a reality. A few minutes later, Saban called. Instead of a job offer, he had a question. About Propst's girlfriend. Propst, you see, was married to another woman with whom he had three children. Yet there were whispers he was living a double life. Two women. Two sets of kids. One football coach. Somehow, the rumors had spread all the way to the Alabama football office. Saban wanted to know: Was it true?
"I couldn't lie," Propst says now, some six years later. "I told him it was ... it was all true. I knew that was it."
He pauses.
"Man, that was tough as s---."

I thought it was for a wide receiver position I could be wrong. Anyway I guess having so many women Saban said heck no.

I could also be wrong, it's been so long ago.
I posted Propst's quote about the interview from an espn.com article above.

In Valdosta's defense, how could they possibly have predicted that Rush would get involved in anything unethical?
There's no way anyone could have seen this coming!

Wow, how the mighty have fallen. Valdosta is the winningest high school football program in the United States (936-238-34), named "Titletown USA" by ESPN, has won 6 national titles, 24 state titles, and 42 regional championships.
All tarnished because of one man and it's a shame.

This is kind of random to bring up here. POS’s get a pass in life every single day in many cases.

The article said many Valdosta boosters were involved along with boosters club president.

I always thought there was something a little odd about Kansas and it's impressive sports legacy.
A Midwestern prairie school out in the middle of nowhere. I mean Lawrence?...whoop dee doo!
However:
Wilt Chamberlain
Gale Sayers
Al Oerter
Danny Manning
Lynette Woodard

Alan Rodemaker will get a large paycheck soon. The Valdosta Booster Club better have good insurance and deep pockets.

Taking great lengths to hush him up about Saban.

Propst talked briefly with AL.com on Tuesday.
“We are letting the process play out right now,” he said. “We are appealing everything. Hopefully, the truth will come out.”
Propst did not comment further on any allegations.
