Need Grant to make 15,000 threes over the summer like Sears did.

Don’t have time currently to go back through thread but do we have a shot at both the UK and Rutgers transfers or is it one or the other?

One or the other

I don't even think Arkansas or Kentucky could afford 2 centers with the supposed NIL numbers floating around for that position. That, and Sherrell needs court time too.

Arkansas definitely could if Jerruh is serious about putting his money where his mouth is. It'd just kinda be pointless though. No sense in paying someone huge money just to sit on your bench and chase another bag a year later.

No, very much in. Sounds like Nate floated the Kentucky kid to perhaps push Cliff into a decision before he leaves campus.

He still on campus?

He's in campus now getting the VIP treatment. But it sounds like Ugonna is the backup plan. They're very similar players. But Cliff is better and fouls less.

May be a discussion for a later date, but do y'all think these numbers are legit, and if so, sustainable?
I recall someone months ago saying agents were telling donors to pay coaches less if they thought the valuations were too high.
I know NIL is a different animal fiscally, but I see the (at least attempted) correlation with astronomical salaries.
Part of me just can't help but think there's no way this type of money lasts consistently league-wide after the newness dies down though, right?

I'm not sure if that numbers are even true, or the agents picking a Jimmy Sexton. But i definitely think they're in an inflated bubble, that can't last.

I can’t believe this is Alabama Basketball. “Thank you Lord baby Jesus.”

Me a year ago: Coleman is too spacious and not intimate enough for college basketball. We need a new arena
Me now: shite they might have to put the court in Bryant-Denny

Just teasing, never one to stand in the way of hyperbolic Bama sports happiness. Gump away.

Alabama has +2200 odds for next year(tied for 8th best odds in the country).
Reading the tea leaves on who we’re expecting to get and who we’re expecting to get back….i think we’d expect to start better than 8th. Theres value there for anyone who likes to partake.
I absolutely hate betting on my own team, but at those odds you can bet it and hedge later

I could've sworn that was in the NCAA tournament. And honestly, we kinda sucked that year.
