Thanks to all the fine Rantards of the SEC Rant. You've really put the cherry on top of a fine college basketball season for the University of Alabama. What a year it's been! In only his second season as head coach, Nate Oats led Alabama to a SEC Regular Season Championship, the SEC Tournament Championship, the SEC POTY Award, Coach of the Year Award, and Alabama made a trip to the Sweet 16. That's quite the accomplishment! The basketball team has made all of us very proud.
Then, (this is the cherry on top of the whipped cream) AU, LSU, and even a few Arkansas fans melted all over the board because Daddy BAMA finally lost. I know it's tough watching Daddy win at all the sports, but is it really necessary to have a meltdown of this proportion? Have you no dignity and pride? Don't answer that. We know the answer.
AU fans pretending to be a basketball school because one good season and a head coach with a show cause. "BuT wE hAVe DUh fInAL FoUr." You're not a basketball school, AU fan. Not by a long shot. You're the bottom of league historically, and one season hasn't changed that. 13-14? "But we were young." AU is forever young.
Just think, AU fan, you have Coach What's His Name to look forward to this fall. I'm sure he's going to be a big winner. Say, has he landed a single four star recruit yet?
LSU jumping on Bruin dick like it's the Clemson dick of 2018. Just feels right. Doesn't it LSU fan? Feels right to sit on the accomplishments of someone else's program. Especially when Daddy lost. Feels good, right? We know LSU loves the D. Anyway, cheer up fella. I'm sure LSU will win again. Someday.
Arkansas? Congrats. I guess. You made the Elite 8. It's only been 26 years which is quite the accomplishment for an elite basketball school like yourselves. Hold that head up high! Well, that is until football season, and then you can hang it again.
Anyway, melt on! It's no skin off our backs to experience the sweet meltiness oozing from the pores of our conference rivals because of all Daddy's success. We know it's been eating you alive, and this may be your last chance for quite a while to let it all out.
Bring on the sister fricker comments, and the trailer park nonsense, and all the other harebrained, pinheaded BS you can muster. It's all you've got. Alabama owns you. Thanks for taking the time to remind us how bad it truly is.
