Pav, I know you’ve got your hands full but if you need to grab a bite go to the Pit Room for some great Tex BBQ. It’s just 10 mins from MDA north of Herman Park. LINK

Hey guys. hope all are doing well. Short update. We are in Houston at MDA. Wifey is doing pretty well. Completed 12th session of radiation today. Chemo is pretty much a continous drip with a picc line and a fanny pack of poison.

We have a nice temp stay apartment and this part of houston is pretty nice. Working the problem every day. I can see fatigue with her as she sleeps more than she did before. Also can tell she starting to get sore from the radiation burn on the inside. fricking barbaric what we do for medicine but if it works, it works.

Hopefully her hair wont fall out, but if it does, it does. it will grow back.

Thanks for your continued prayers. War Eagle bros.

This probably won’t help you, but when I was there we stayed at the Rotary House hotel - it has a concourse that could nexts right to MD Anderson. It just makes getting into the medical buildings a whole lot easier if she gets too tired to travel there. They have a golf cart that can go pick her up at the hotel.

She's done with the treatment on May 17th. Will have to return to houston several times a year for awhile. Will definitely use the Rotary House for those trips.

MDA is an amazing place. The whole Texas Medical Center is awesome. multiple university medical schools, and every kind of medical specialty there is. A lot of damned fine and smart people there.

We had that conversation. The kids want to do it and Im up for it. Wifey would have none of it. Mainly because she is very private about her bidness and if the whole fam shows up at the grocery store or whatever, everybody in town will want to know whats up.

I am going through treatment myself. I hope that your wife will recover from her cancer. The treatments are tough. I know they are tough on the family as well. Stay strong for her. I pray for her and your family.
