1995 Nebraska - 0
2001 Miami - 1
2018 Clemson - 2
2019 LSU - 3
2020 Alabama -1

Interesting.

2020 Alabama is not qualified to be in that convo. No asterisks allowed.

Y’all push the “Greatest CFB team of all time” thing so much it is like y’all know who it really is but can not accept it being LSU. Give it up

Should they be in the conversation? Particularly with the pathetic followup?

I honestly would put 2013 FSU up there as well if we're putting 2018 clemson.

Alabama has the greatest college football program in existence but despite their incredible success, LSU's 2019 "Most Accomplished Season Ever" has wrecked their fan's world.

And played 25% less starters on average than LSU faced the year before. Must be nice.

And yet only, one of these seasons will be remembered by CFB fans as the pandemic season and will be considered a massive outlier compared to 100 years of college football. This fact bothers a certain fanbase so bad that they make up random parameters to compare their team to others.

My fave is when this board moans and cries about all the 2019 LSU talk/GOAT team debates, but we get these gems of threads constantly from Alabama folks

Alabama beat a 7 win team in the national championship. LSU beat a 14 win team in the national championship

Case Closed

What an insecure thread.

Pathetic.

If we all agree on 95 Nebraska, can these threads go away?

They had 3 single digit wins early in the year when lsu was unhealthy and not clicking on all cylinders. At the end of the year (healthy), they spanked 3 top 5 teams in a row. No team in history could beat the end of the year LSU team.
Osu in 2014 is an example. They weren't amazing at the beginning of the year, but at the end, they were great and beat teams with a 3rd string qb

And the 1 was a game with a big halftime deficit in which the losing team cut it to 1 score in the 4th quarter. LSU fans have expressly told us that these do not count as close games

0 close games. 2020 Bama is tGOAT
