I know it was only one year, but the name Mike Evans still gives me PTSD. fricking 50/50 balls.

Evans as on the cusp of the tip top tier of WRs.

Evans is 75% of the reason anyone thought Manziel was any good

Swope did more damage to Bama than Evans ever did that first year.

That's nowhere close to true.

Remember when Mike Evan’s got shut down by true freshmen Rishard Robinson?

ALL BRADY EVER DOES IS THROW IT UP FOR GODWIN.
Replace JFF with Mike Evans and you’ll end up sounding SECRant stupid.

There is truth to it. Many many times Manziel threw off his back foot in the general direction of Evans. He was looking at the sky when he released a lot of those.

Dude, that was indeed a thrown up prayer, but that wasn't even Evans on the other end.

Damn if I don't still think the same thing watching any TB game.

Thanks for the example of how magic he was

He singlehandedly destroyed Ole Miss at home two years in a row along with Ryan swope

That's such an exaggerated claim that Manziel was constantly throwing balls off his back foot to Evans.
Manziel had a 69% completion percentage, 7,830 passing yards, 37 passing TD, 2,169 rushing yards and 30 rushing TDs in just 2 years at A&M in his true freshman/sophomore years. His sophomore year 3 other WRs had 50+ receptions.
You don't do put up those kinds of numbers throwing jump balls up to a single WR.
