He was HC at Tennessee Tech a few years back and has been demoted it seems every move he's made. He was OC at ETSU after he got fired at TTU, then he was TE coach at Baylor and then he became an assistant OL coach with the Panthers. Not the OL coach, the assistant OL coach.

Everybody trying to get the Brady magic.

We’re both about to find out what kind of teacher Joe Brady is.

South Carolina is doing the opposite of what we've done our entire history: we've brought in someone who has zero HC experience to essentially prove he can get the job done. All my life it's been one aging coach or retread after another. I get the desire to try and catch lighting in a bottle like Clemson did with Dabo, but you can't replicate that unless it's organic. Maybe I'm wrong. I hope I'm wrong, but 36 years as a Gamecock fan say otherwise.

Well, somebody has to come in early and make coffee.

how can you say we are doing the opposite of what we have done forever, which is generally be average, but when we are trying something new, that you think we are going to not do well?

Yikes.
May work out, but the experience jump from assistant OL to OC doesn’t seem to make sense.

So many OC candidates out there to choose from and that’s the guy you land on? What’s Beamer’s buyout?

Wasn't he actually assistant tight ends coach?
Not that it matters.

Because we're South Carolina and we've never done much well when it comes to football.

Good news is Chadwell is still out there! You can always fired him and get Chadwell.
