It pretty much drove Ted2010 to saying 'frick alabama......ive been slug-trackin 95 nebraska's thighs for decades.'

2019 LSU did an absolute number on that boy's psyche as well as about 10 others.

Why do LSU fans keep bringing up 95 Nebraska?

Is the USC fan an lsu fan?

Those 2 USC fans I saw didn’t say 2019 Bama was better then 2020 Bama. They were specifically talking about 2019 LSU vs 2020 Bama. So were a lot of the comments in that thread. You can’t seem to understand that.

I spent enough time on that board to know most of them are LSU fans. But if you don’t, like I said, just check their post history. Not hard.

What an absolute idiot you are. You’re the one that brought it up as proof. Not anyone else. Might need to get checked out by the doctor for memory loss.

Man as annoying as LSU posters like Pride can be, at least he comes across as intelligent enough. Can’t say the same for this board and a few others.

It bothers bama fans more than they'll acknowledge, because for once... something isn't ALL bama.

2020 Bama is better than 2019 Bama , which LSU could only beat by 5, by a pretty large margin.2020 also has no gimme games, and we didn’t play Vandy either.

So

Tua vs Mac
Jeudy vs Devonta
Ruggs vs Metchie
Devonta vs Slade Bolden
Waddle vs ?
Najee vs Najee (he is better this year)
OL lost Deonte Brown and Jedrick Willis

Defense lost: Xavier Mckinney, Trevon Diggs, Raekwon Davis, Terrell Lewis, and Jennings

Lol mkay.

Funny how you say that you have played better competition than us, but when it’s brought up that our defense did better against better offenses, suddenly all the great offenses we played don’t matter.

And I didn’t pick and choose either by rank of offense played lsu gave up:

#2) 41 Points
#4) 25 Points
#6) 28 Points
#17) 38 points (first game)
#28) 20 points
#29) 28 points

That doesn’t look like a bad defense to me

Alabama on the other hand:

#11) 46 Points
#13) 48 Points

And the next best team offensively you played after that was fricking LSU. We’re terrible and we’re the third best offensive team y’all played??? The 5-5 team that lost to Missouri and State? And you want to claim to be the best team ever and that you beat better competition? Give me a break

The fact is LSU barely beat some mediocre teams while 95 Nebraska blew everyone out.

LSU fans didn't even realize the debate existed until last year.

Usually it's 2001 Miami that was on the losing side of the debate, now it's 2019 LSU. Pretty good accomplishment if you ask me, but stop trying to take what isn't yours.

Tua is more talented then Mac but Mac has been more efficient then him this year. Tua had a higher % of his yards coming after the catch. Mac also isn’t as injury prone and doesn’t hold onto the ball as long. He’s more willing to take the check down.

Deonte Brown is still on the team. Alex Leatherwood and Landon Dickerson did better this year. Which is another thing, it’s possible last year’s guys to play better. Take Christian Harris for example. Last year he was a true freshman thrust into a starting role. He still has some issues but he is playing better.

Have you not considered their replacements are playing just as good if not better? Take Terrell Lewis. Will Anderson has already surpassed his sack total.

I personally don’t think this Bama team is better then LSU 2019. Your argument should be around the defense. Not if 2019 Bama was better. LSU’s defense got noticeably better starting with the A&M game. That improvement is what sets them apart.

You don’t think any of your defense playing better has to do with the abysmal offenses you have played this year?

Offenses have actually been better this year. Defense is what has been regressed.

Alabama hasnt played the cupcakes that LSU played last year...they have done what they have done against an all SEC schedule which is miles above what LSU did last year.

Mizzou 5-5

TN 3-7
Arky 3-7
MSU 3-7
aTm-worst 5th ranked team ever
UF-lost to LSU freshman team
UGA-lost to the same UF team that lost to LSU

Even the SEC is full of cupcakes in 2020.

How about this? Last year Bama played an FCS team and a 2-10 New Mexico St team. You don’t think that padded the 2019’s defensive stats at all? Their other OCC games included Duke (#93 in scoring) and Southern Miss (#81). This team didn’t have the advantage of padding their stats vs 4 dogshit offenses out of conference.

You’re trying to say having 1/3 of schedule being those 4 garbage offensives won’t pad your defensive stats?

This year’s team played 5 top 50 scoring offenses. Last year’s played 2.

Also you seem to be having a very hard time distinguishing between the arguments of LSU 2019 vs Bama 2020 and Bama 2019 vs Bama 2020. The stats you posted were in regard to LSU and Bama. Which is not what I’m arguing. I’m arguing Bama 2019 vs Bama 2020. I’ve already stated that I think LSU 2019 would beat Bama 2020.

Not really.

In total

lsu gave up:

#2) 41 Points
#4) 25 Points
#6) 28 Points
#17) 38 points (first game)
#28) 20 points
#29) 28 points
#49) 10 points
#62) 7 points
#65) 6 points
#70) 3 points
#74) 13 points (Mississippi state the mighty SEC school, below Georgia Southern and Utah State)
#81) 37 points (Ole Miss also below)
#110) 20 Points (Arkansas too?? Wow)
#125) 38 points (obvious outlier not to mention 2 touchdowns not given up by defense)

Which means LSU played an average of the 52 ranked offense in the country

Alabama on the other hand:

#11) 46 Points
#13) 48 Points
#34) 24 points
#39) 17 Points (LSU is the 4th best offense that’s kinda sad)
#41) 24 points
#80) 19 Points
#86) 3 Points
#87) 13 Points
#107) 3 Points
#108)17 Points
#109) 0 Points

Alabama’s average offensive rank of opponent: 65

So Alabama played worse offensive teams than lsu while giving up far more points per game to the higher ranked offensive teams, who’s defense was better?

And I figured might as well look at offense as well

Offensively based on defensive rank of team played

Lsu:

#1) 37 Points
#3) 42 Points
#7) 42 Points
#13) 46 Points
#17) 20 Points
#39) 50 Points
#60) 58 Points
#64) 63 Points
#65) 45 Points
#70) 55 Points
#73) 36 Points
#90) 42 Points
#97) 66 Points
#124) 56 Points

Average 51 ranked defense played

Alabama:

#20) 41 Points
#27) 52 Points
#36) 42 Points
#47) 63 Points
#60) 41 Points
#63) 52 Points
#72) 48 Points
#85) 38 Points
#97) 52 Points
#99) 55 Points
#122) 63 Points

For an average of the #66 defense faced.

There is no way to slice it where Alabama has faced remotely tougher competition

Only Bama fans could take a year where a 6-0 team is in the playoffs and think that season contends for best ever. Meanwhile everyone else sees a big *

Your extra two SEC games were Mizzou and Kentucky. So you basically played 8 SEC games plus 2 G5 games.

This is a laughable notion mainly used to troll by males with tiny genitalia like Tuscaloosa.

Your QB is less talented than last year. Your WRs are objectively less talented than the group from last year. You’ve just handled a chaotic year well because of the GOAT coach.

2019 Bama would beat 2020 Bama by 2 TDs
