Watching Saturday's in the South and seeing some of the old stadiums had me wondering which ones are in need of updates.

Some of the ones that I think need replaced completely is Tennessee's and LSU's. They both are outdated museum pieces. South Carolina's needs additional levels and Mizzou needs the track around the field removed.

I like the fact that Tennessee's is near the river, thats a pretty cool environment. Also like LSU's ambiance of night games just think there needs to be some updating.

LSU has the saddest score board in football

Seriously LSU. Why is your main scoreboard so fricking small

Tiger Stadium is fine dude. You're watching a football game not staying at the Ritz-Carlton. BTW Bama needs to get rid of that laser lightshow. It ruins the allure of Alabama football and makes you look like some gimmicky AAC school.

No love for The Vaught? USC's is fine. They made a mistake not building skyboxes on the sides but its a nice stadium for that program.

So they don't have to look at the score when they play Bama

Havent been there so I'm not sure what it looks like.

Auburn's needs expanded and updated as well. Maybe an au fan can tell me when a remodel has been done. I haven't heard or read anything about a remodel. How long has it been?

Imo USC's is too small for a sec program. Its a lot like Troy's football stadium.

I don’t think it needs to expand any but it definitely needs to be updated. The exterior looks so old.

Replacing Tiger Stadium would be like replacing Fenway Park. BD is more like one of the newer major league parks no one GAF about.

Tiger Stadium is a pantheon of concrete and steel that is rivaled only by the Colosseum in Rome.

I hope it is maintained (but not replaced) for a thousand years.

The vast majority of LSU fans I know don't want a generic McStadium like you have in Tuscaloosa.

Yeah but Ive seen what has happened to Legion field and a lot of sec stadiums were built around the same time. Imo its not just about fan comforts its also about recruiting. You go into BD and you see all the updates etc how can Tennessee's stadium compare?

I guess my thought process is different. I want to most updated, coolest looking facilities for our fans and recruits. I feel the same way about Coleman. It needs demolished and built anew. That thing is so old.

Lol there is nothing pantheon about a stadium with a bunch of sun baked yellow chairs scattered about

Ohio Stadium (eww) is a real concrete college football stadium

Tiger Stadium is half erector set
