I'm well aware of that, but the point I'm trying to say is pinning what happened with LSU this year or Bama success on age is hubris. You should expect good turnover if you're a successful program like LSU.
What the world saw was poor execution, lack of adjustments and effort earlier in the season. Those opt outs were best thing to happened to LSU it removed cancers from the locker room. Nothing worse than being around people who don't care.

there are exceptions to most every thing.
Obviously you nor Blackie saw my postscript about the TEN fr. and soph players on Alabama's starting 22.
Bottomline is that he's just hunting an excuse to use to ease the embarrassment of the horrific curb stomping Alabama put on y'all's team
That's a whole lot of deflection from this statement:

Only to a guy who finished high school at 20 would that equate to a 22 year old junior.

quote:"Roll Tide What?....frick you" That's what The Shrimp Boat Captain told his team after the '19 game. He also said how they were gonna beat them every time they played them and in recruiting, too!......and it all came back to bite him in the arse!...as usual.
I have no idea what the frick RTWFU is, but it must be German.

God Bless you for trying but I can assure you he won't let it go. Even if you do the research for him he will switch the narrative again.
I don't have time to deal with him. I'm headed to a small gathering for Christmas.
He really is low IQ though, I used to think he was just being intentionally obtuse.

Yes but not 37 players overall and 17/22 starters with no offseason to prepare.
Thats completely unprecedented.

You seem awfully resistant to providing a link.
I think someone is looking at an old projection and is afraid he'll make himself look dumb again.

Look man I'm not trying to get into a battle here, but Blackcloud and yourself pointing to age gap narrative but really that has nothing to do with it. Yes in certain schemes experience is neccessary but generally the best players play.
Mississippi st and Mizzou both have new coaching staffs with no spring ball. Same amount of practices in fall camp as LSU.
LSU brought back experience a QB, RB and Wrs running the same concepts on offense even with the Chase opt out.
They returned experience on Defense also with more than a few seeing minutes in the playoffs and 5 starters returning.
Now this same team will be more experienced learning a different offense and Defense this off-season?

Me too. I love Alabama, they’re my second favorite school, but also, frick Alabama too.

I would hope our coach would think and talk to our team like that. I am good with Ryan Day’s approach here. Chip in your shoulder
Frick OU but I don’t see a problem here.

It’s in a supposed closed locker room environment. What’s he supposed to tell his team? That they suck?
What he needs to be doing, though, is finding out why a private locker room moment got leaked.

I'm talking about real gametime experience. The only one of those guys who played significantly last year was Terrace Marshall and he was the #3 receiver, also missed half the season due to injury.

They only returned three starters on defense. Logan, Stingley, and Stevens. Stingley sprained his ankle early in the year and never really got healthy.
LSU was almost last in the country in returning production, without significant offseason work, a lot of position battles took place on the field.
LSU was probably the team in the SEC that needed a real offseason the most, replacing 17/22 starters is hard not to mention the 37 players who left overall.
ETA: There's also certain positions where experience is more valuable and most of those guys were gone. We had true freshmen quarterbacks most of the season, 4/5 offensive linemen were new (returner was the right tackle) so that unit had to gel, and 1/4 in the secondary (Stingley) and most of those guys were freshmen and sophomores with little to no college experience.

You idiots really believe this stuff matters.
LSU got whipped this year because bama returned a team chock-full with 21-22 year old grown men
who got revenge against a team with a bunch of 18-19 yr old teenagers that were either in highschool last year or were on the bench.
Then why Orgeron fired his DC and other assistants?
