They self imposed a bowl ban. Denying the unwashed masses the privilege of seeing them play is enough to wash away the death penalty for LSU.

They are trying to get ahead of the NCAA by self-imposing a bowl ban this year. It isn't going to work though

I can't really find but one or two instances of it being displayed by LSU, only Ole Miss.
The photos I found seem to be from either O's interim or first year.
They didn't even touch it last year, just left it on the field.

Exactly. They'd most likely have been 4-6 if they didn't puss out against A&M. That shite was planned because they thought it was an afterthought that they'd beat LSU and have a winning record. Anyway, State is in a bowl at 3-7. I sure as hell ain't proud of it or bragging about it, but we do need the practice and to play an OOC game. Ole Miss fans act like they had some powerhouse season. They beat fricking 0 win Vandy, 2 win SC, 3 win State only by a TD who had like 45 players, and 4 win UK because they missed a couple of PAT's. They did have the moral victory over Bama where they gave up 63 points and 723 yards. WAOM baby!!!

LSU didn't want a 3 game winning streak, and decided to let beating ole piss be the last thing for 2020.
