Thanks, Gus.

I guess it’s not that surprising. MAR committed to Auburn because of Gus. Said he knew he wanted to play for him at Auburn since he visited with his brother when Gus was recruiting Ahmonn
Still sucks
Still sucks

So we’re blaming everything that happens because Gus got fired on Gus? Even though Gus didn’t want to be fired?
I don’t think that’s exactly logical.

Yes.
Absolutely.
I’m highly irrational right now and I don’t give a frick.

This is why Gus' replacement should have already been locked down. It's possible, even likely, that the new HC could have talked him out of this.

Hopefully he plays for Lashlee at the U.

He hasn’t gone anywhere and what coaching search has ever ended in 3/4 days?

MAR was probably gone regardless. Dude couldn't buy a lick of meaningful playing time under Gus'.

Probably the same number of coaching firings that involve the highest buyout ever. It's just my opinion that when you spend that kind of $ to fire someone, you should have a plan firmly locked down.

Of note: #StopSteele and #StopTheSteele are both being used on Twitter.

After Nix I would have thought MAR would have been the next happiest person to see Gus go.

Right but if you’re using #StopSteele that means you don’t understand the joke

That seems like a good idea but can't really do it when the coach your firing has the same agent as the coach you want. And that agent uses your interest to get the desired coach a raise at the current school. But you still have to go through that same agent to get a different coach. Auburn got Sexton'd.... Again.

Maybe he should not fumble in practice.

How did Whitlow play so much then?

I knew it. Kid will be very good somewhere.
And Im sorry he is gone, but I hope he does very well.
AL and GA have no problems with 2 or even three backs sharing the load. Damien Harris even said on draft day it was a blessing he had sophomore legs. Kerryon, on the other hand, was a 40 year old man.
MAR would have been a wonderful change of pace, and great hands out of the backfield.
I hope he does well, he had faith in Auburn for years (Jones is right about his decision on Auburn when he came with Ahmon), never gave him a chance.
