We know you’re reviewing this forum... We have no desire for any continuance from the past regime. We do not want Kevin Steele..... Let the PTB know that decision will blow up worse than the UT Schiano scenario.

I feel like we’re playing Steele until the end of early signing day. All in hopes the staff does not kill what recruits are signing or at least convince them to wait. But I don’t follow recruiting so I don’t know.

Have you checked the class? They've been bailing out for the past month and I expect more will make a move tomorrow. Kids don't want to come to Auburn for Kevin fricking Steele. Recruiting this year is screwed for the '21 class. Maybe whoever comes in can find a couple projects that turn into solid players to sign in Feb. But overall, we have essentially trashed this season.
And with the new rules on only signing 25 per class, not sure how hard it will be to catch up after a throwaway year like this.

We’re not going with Steele. No way would we make that kind of decision. Never. I assume it’s for negative press or setting low expectations

I agree (and God I hope we are correct). It's just that there's been SO much out there about him that I'm really starting to believe that these bastards are truly dumb enough to actually do it...
Best case scenario for me right now is we announce MC sometime Saturday or Sunday after their game. Then he comes in and does his thing in recruiting and we end up somewhere with a top 20-25 class. Maybe better as I think this year will be an exception and not as many of the top guys sign early due to not being able to take many visits. That may just be wishful thinking though. The usual top recruiting schools seem to not have any problems recruiting during the pandemic.
Idk, I've hit the Maker's tonight and been reading all this Steele shite and it is certainly not exciting.

Like others have said, maybe they're just being tight-lipped about Cristobal until after the PAC12 championship, and we're all being trolled in the meantime. Wouldn't be shocked if we'll stay in the dark until Sunday or Monday.
