That sounds like Mike McKinney forcing Mike Sherman on A&M or Jim Wilson forcing the Sumlin no buyout contract extension.

Heard Marcello on Finebaum. Convinced now his sources are within the AD or on the Staff. He hasn't got a clue what is going on.

This has Auburn Good ole boy network bullshite written all over it. In summary:
Boosters ignore AD and Fire a winning coach and pay him 21M ( after the same people gave him a 50M contract 3 years ago)
Decide your best and only option is your current defensive coordinator that hasn’t been a head coach in 20 years.
Try to railroad him through prior to ESD without even thinking about what the president may say.
Get cockblocked by the president in favor of a search committee Headed by the AD.
After 3 weeks and $50k spent, BOT ignores search committee and ADs advice and hires Kevin Steele anyway.
You can’t make this shite up.

Really dumbass, you must not follow SEC Football. At most schools the Athletic Department is the last place you look for information. First of all there are people with loyalties who might want to put out certain information. Second of all, the search is rarely actually done by someone inside the building.
