I'm failing to see a link to PFF claiming that Mac will win the Heisman
You'll see Saturday Night in BDS II!

The same PFF that had Trask in at 6th in the SEC, behind Feleipe Franks not just a few weeks ago?
Or the Stetson Bennett -- I'm just gonna stop right there at Feleipe being ranked ahead of Trask.
PFF hates Trask, man. Probably found pics on their girlfriend's cellphone or something.

They don't hate him they're just rating their abilities per how they would translate to the pros.
However, I think they're wrong about him.

If Mac goes for 350 vs LSU give him the Heisman
Bruh Stevie Wonder could throw for 350 against LSU with Rick James(a notorious coked up lunatic) calling the plays and James Brown(someone who fights tooth and nail against the english language) subbing as the offensive coordinator..

So you think Feleipe Franks is going to have a longer pro career than Trask?

PFF is pretty good at most of what they do, but at QB they have a lot of tweaking to go through. This idea that he's only successful because of his receivers is myopic. Every year people say the same thing, and every year he's started our offense just happens to get better.
Like I said, they really hate Trask.

I said, that I thought they were wrong about K. Trask!
He has earned a day1 invite to the professional combines in Indianapolis next year. What he does there and how he grades out will decide where he will get drafted..
So, his #'s mean very little to the pros. Except for his accuracy and comp. % and total qbr! Medical/Mental, Physical attributes, fooot work, arm strength, release, vision etc...
Check off most of those boxes and he's a Rd 1 draftee. Fail on few and he could drop a few rds. So, I believe and hope they are wrong about Trask because I love a Cinderella story. His having never started in highschool or college before last season is the stuff movies are made about!

Trask is #3 in Total QBR.
6th in Pass Efficiency.
#1 in Touchdown Passes.
PFF had him ranked sixth in the SEC.
Had him ranked 48th before this season.
Imagine how hard it was for them to finally rank him in the top 5 QBs, and how good he has had to be to get there. I really do think that at the QB position they simply want to draw clicks and attention.
We're not talking about that, and that isn't actually how PFF works.
The reason their statistics didn't predict Trask is because of several flaws in their metrics.
Throwing into coverage that results in a Touchdown is still considered a negative play even though the output was positive. Throwing downfield less often results in a poor rating, so when Trask takes a checkdown because the defense is playing Cloud-3 coverage all game to stop him from going deep, this is looked at as negative and his receivers are actually the reason he's successful.
They have basically been punishing him for taking the right read because it doesn't gel with their idiotic metrics at the QB position.
Trask last year was ranked in the top 15 in every passing category and was ranked 48th coming into this year, it's clear that they have failed to accurately measure him for a while, and as I posted above literally had a hit piece out to explain why Trask wasn't a good Quarterback.
PFF is straight buns, my guy.

Coming from a deliverance looking, inbred Cajun such as you, I'll give you a pass.
Your mental capacity to post such sick drivel only show's the need to have a compassionate heart for you and those just like you from CAJUN COUNTRY.
GUMBO GOOOOOOOD, OPEN WIDE AND SAY AHH!

He wouldn’t sniff the Heisman in a regular year.

What if he throws 5 ints, and fumbles twice?
With Harris being nicked all the pressure will be on Mac (choke choke)

I agree... kid plays well and keeps his head about him fairly well... was listening to Jacksonville sports radio this afternoon, person from The Athletic called Mac barely in the top 32, and Trask a mid day 2. I ain’t too convinced there is that much difference between the two of them.

He isn’t even the best player on his team. Neither is trask
